  1. Jerry and the Big Flounder ran off Zimmer in his prime with the number 1 defense so Parcells could totally rebuild the defense to his familiar old style 3-4, which he never got done, until he was replaced by Wade, to some degree. Now Jerry may bring back Zimmer, an old school 4-3 guy to tear down Quinn's gimmicky defense and start from scratch needing new types of player. Totally different philosophies. Gonna take more years to get it on track. The circle is complete. I'd be on either team Harris or team Whitt. At least they can work with the players they have, tweak the current system to something less all or nothing, some ideas to have the ability to adjust and slow down the run when teams have their shit figured out. I don't think Jerry really understands the current league trend of younger, bright coaches that know the workings of the game beyond the 20th century.
  2. Traded to the Broncos?
  3. I've seen it several times on AXS back when it was on fairly regular. Very good doc, even if you aren't a huge Kansas fan.
  4. If they ever get a lead over anybody, it will never be safe.
  5. "Zimmer spent the 2023 campaign away from the game but studying current trends as part of an effort to return to the sidelines." So there... it will all be just fine.
  6. It gives me another year to find some way to get halfway decent unlimited internets at my residence.
  7. I still haven't' been fishing, but I'm buying lots of nice fishing lures on clearance. Sort of a repeat of last year.
  8. And back to the game. Nothing much to see there...
  9. I saw this poster at Wal Mart today. The child inside me refused to let me leave the store without one. It was under $6.
  10. Solid black strap, and wear it like this.
  11. I bought a new hanging feeder for suet type stuff and it took about two days before it was on the ground busted because of the fucking squirrels.
  12. Clearly a fumble. We'll see if the refs cheat.

Never really was a Kiss fan or Ace fan, but I found this surprisingly listenable. Possibly because there' so little decent rock out there these days, but it's pretty toe-tappin'.
  14. Hutchinson's head is so friggin' huuuuuge it makes his arms look skinny.
  15. Dudes. You have two time outs left. You use them. It's pouring down rain. You make them snap it two more times. Nothing to lose.
  16. This is fact. The myth that Jerry is only interested in making money is false. He wants to win more than anyone, for his own ego. He just doesn't have a clue how to get it done. So at least he's got his money.
  17. Yeah, Dak made a couple of brutal throws, but the D was a total dumpsterfire. Quinn comes up with some really cool schemes, but doesn't seem to be able to adjust very well short term or in game. They just flat out sucked ass. That's how shit like the blowouts Dallas suffered, and blowing a 28-3 lead in the Superbowl happens. I sure wish some team were stupid enough to hire him away as a head coach. McCarthy is just McCarthy. Credit to him for getting the offense cranking this year, but his overall leadership and game management is still shittyass shit.
  18. Fuck aggy and his dirtyass team. I was liking Detroit a lot, liked the way they built their team, but it's starting to look like Dan is a punk.
  19. Damn, these refs are fucking garbage.
  20. That's some dirtyass shit, right there.
  21. Seemed like pretty blatant roughing by two or three guys. Doing that to Maholmes would result in the death penalty.
  22. Late hit and a stomp on the chest by the Lions and no call.
  23. I have a feeling Quinn's head coaching prospects plummeted quite a bit after today's shithole performance. We're probably stuck with him.
  24. Is anyone still concerned about losing Dan Quinn? They have three or four (when healthy) of the best defensive players in the NFL and the defense is shit. And we all knew McCarthy would shit the bed at some point and get completely outcoached. The home field thing was a bit of an anomaly. It was never home field. It was just inconsistency, and the ability of some teams to take advantage of the holes in the Cowboys scheme. Dallas hasn't had a particularly strong home field advantage since Jerry World was built. It was just more of a coincidence they matched up better in their home games. Dallas was far too one dimensional to survive the playoffs. They need people to stop the run, and a coach that understands that you can't just avoid run defense and get away with it. They need a much stronger running game, with a punishing runner to finish drives. They need a big scary compliment to Lamb as the other wideout. Ferguson was a revelation during the season, but it wasn't enough, too few reliable options.
