    Getting old sucks

0300 piss while sitting means • No aiming required. • No need to turn on a light. • Less chance of dropping your phone in the nasty water. If not having a "man card" means a clean terlit, IDGAS & you can have mine.

  3. I re-read 3× thinking I missed something. You *can* edit the OP.
  4. I am on the Milwaukee battery system & got this ½ priced on a closeout. Works great on the shitter, the sink & there's no need to drag an air hose up into the attic.
  5. Straight bleach even ½ gal. is still too much.
  6. Tom and Ray Magliozzi have intered the chat. 7. ¿How does this one qualify for "dumbass"?
  8. Bleach works too *MAYBE* a cap-ful of bleach to 1 gallon of water. Better to stick with vinegar & not damage the pipes.
  9. My wife would say "All I know is it doesnt taste like a pastry."
  10. <--- Native Shreveporter here. Lots of family from Baton Rouge on down (& a great uncle that was even on the cover of a Justin Wilson comedy album). I do slimers (Okra) in my Gumbo however I can easily see leaving that out. Regarding oven roux, does it take consistent attention or is it a "fire & forget" thing? As to Etouffe', that needs to be my next mastery & of course that starts with attempts & a sufficient # of fails. Does anyone have a go-to recipe for that? Should we get a totally separte thread on that topic?
  11. "Tarzan couldn't take this kinda hot."

  13. I'm gonna do my best to ignore this "pour over potato salad" heresy. 😕🙈🥴🤯😯
  14. She has a mini floor unit in her bedroom, hides out all day (separate topic / headache) & with 2 fans going, likes it 65⁰.
  15. She's 19, so this 2 parter doesn't belong near Doomlet & his funny stuff in the "Shit My Kid Says" thread.
  16. AND... we would often stop off at some rando motel (not a "hotel" with them fancy inward facing hallways) & find an ice machine way in the back of the building with a breezeway where you wouldn't get spotted, then refill your family cooler with all new ice while you cursed that machine for not letting you fit the corner of the cooler all the way under the dispenser.
  17. From a restoration contractor's perspective, stay away from AllSnake / Snake Farm. Repeat: In my experienced opinion, these two are the worst. Example for AllSnake; Recent claim, 5-1/2" hail... AllSnake tried to pay for 158 individual shingles to be replaced. & AllSnake says these hail hits... That caused THIS damage... Can be combed out, despite dents that go 3/4" deep & a licensed AC company says they can NOT be combed, we are in for a fight with AllSnake. Older system, R22, propane heat setup / air handler in the attic... $ 12,800.00 cost total replacement vs. the comb-out offer of $ 182.36 (including trip charge). So, yeah... IMO, AllSnake s-u-c-k-s.
  18. https://www.nbcnews.com/news/us-news/disney-says-man-cant-sue-wifes-death-agreed-disney-terms-service-rcna166594 Talk about a horribad PR move.
  19. (depending on the age of the AC install) You will have a secondary / overflow drain line in your soffit & it is typically set over a window (kitchen) or near a door. The idea is so you will see it & recognize the primary is clogged. Additionally, building code since ______ (I don't know when) has required a "Float Switch" for the condensation pan, so either your system's installation date predates the code, your installer didn't put one in or you do have one & it's defective.
  20. They don't really have anything else to do with their day.
  21. This is a safe space - you can go ahead & say it: "I want to touch your hole".
  22. Around 12 years ago, I had a gutter customer who had an "older" (to humans) turtle of some sort & IIRC, it was around 2½ ft, maybe 3 ft. long. They had a well fenced in (metal) back yard that was maybe 4× the size of your average suburban neighborhood yard. The turtle had worn a path all the way around the perimeter to where everything in that route was hard pack & it also nipped @ the bottom edge of their Masonite siding everywhere it could reach; supposedly it did this over the course of around 6 or 7 years. They also had a decent large home made dog house for it with a pair of heat lamps for Winter livin' & a kiddy pool dug into the ground for some shallow water action whenever it wanted to use that. That's about all I can volunteer for you.
  23. Last Saturday, ShaneSmithMusic.com with Marty Stuart 2nd openee. Family of 4 outing & yeah, it was hot. Marty Stuart was blazing & I wish his set was 3× longer. VERY happy I finally got to see him live. Musical royalty & his Fabulous Superlatives kicked it through the uprights on demand. Shane & the Saints were excellent as usual, played most of the songs I wanted to hear. For some reason I'm just not as locked in on the new album "Norther" quite the way "Geronimo" hit me. Probably need more listens I suppose. First time seeing a gig @ the Whitewater Amphitheater. Nice venue, ¿maybe? you could hear some music from the river if you were on a Yak, canoe or tube, but you won't be able to see anything.
