  1. That blatant cheat/incompetence cost Texas the game.
  2. [cue the flying pigs gif]
  3. Armybrat replied to Hate's topic in Lulz
    No shit.
  4. Is Bill Bunch and his SOS still trying to stop construction of the new convention center.
  5. As a fellow Hilltopper, it is good to hear that about him.
  6. My HOA forced me to remove half my “unapproved” xeriscaping several years ago at a cost of $3,500. Some neighborhood newbie who wanted to do the same (and was rejected) complained 11 years after I had the gravel laid down over the dead St. Augustine. A year after that, The M.U.D. Xeriscaped the median in the main neighborhood thoroughfare. FML
  7. Mrs. Brat bakes some damn good cookies and was a talented baton twirler/drum major, but I dunno if she dropped the baton that much (no titty pics).
  8. BTW - Smoot and his frat brothers were drunk at the time, which prompted the “historic” incident.
  9. I knew Oliver Smoot. We both attended Taipei American School in Taiwan during the late 1950s. He was a senior while I was a freshman. After he graduated he went back stateside to attend MIT. Never heard anything about him until my brother met up with him at a TAS reunion 30 years ago. Then 20 years ago after I started messing around on the Internet, saw the MIT story about the Smoot “measurement” and it’s funny origin. This was our original campus in downtown Taipei then (the school moved to a large suburban campus in the 1960s):
  10. RIP Chico (son’s doggie)
  11. Once a culero always a culero, verdad?
  12. I used to park by the Stadium at San Jacinto & 21st most of the time for class. Sometimes close to Littlefield Fountain if I had a class in the 6 Pack. (Early ‘60s)
  13. Speaking of hard hitting news, the AAS actually shed a little bit of light on the City Council’s accounting chicanery for once…. http://www.statesman.com/news/politics/elections/local/article/austin-proposition-q-budget-accounting-21122290.php?utm_content=hed&sid=689778998283b1454f057a30&ss=A&st_rid=null&utm_source=newsletter&utm_medium=email&utm_term=roundup&utm_campaign=stsm | mid-morning must-reads
  14. Am tempted to add a can to my 5.56 pistol next year if I’m still around. Just for the heck of it. Guess I’d have to do the trust thing. Would that allow it to be passed down to a family member?
  15. Looks like Rocky & his friends are gonna get rocked.
  16. Maybe someone should bribe the harness dude to give him a wedgie.
  17. Pretty much. My recently divorced granddaughter (no pics) has a dog, a cat, and a hamster in her 680 sq/ft one bedroom condo.
  18. So do the drug dealers and hookers that have infested what used to be a nice area 50 years ago.
  19. We can counter that by one of the Silver Spurs walking over to Uga and showing him a photo of Bevo.
  20. Somebody should tell the council members what they can do with those sticks.
