  1. Thousands marched in NYC and there were zero arrests. That's how you do it.
  2. That 400k got paid. Just not to the victims.
  3. I thinks it more like "Why, Chang?"
  4. Abso-fucking-lutely this. Peaceful partying to show those MAGA fucks that "This is America. Not their fascist bullshit one.
  5. Scott Jennings is one the most vile people alive. And CNN is vile for platforming him.
  6. We're leaving our hotel in downtown Chattanooga and there are hundreds, if not a couple thousand, leaving their No Kings rally. Kind of impressive turnout but it doesn't mean shit if they dont turnout to vote or if they do, vote GOP.
  7. Not bad but sometimes you have to chase the signal.
  8. Someone needs to make stickers of that yellow sign and slap them on the statue regularly.
  9. The drive along 321 in Pigeon Forge is a documentary of sadness and desperation. American families trying to convince themselves that we are indeed, great again.
  10. We're in house near Wears Valley/Townsend up in the hills for the next 3 days. This was a complete last minute trip and pickings weren't terrible but I knew we wanted to stay away from Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg as much as we could. There wasnt much on the eastern side of the park (Asheville) so we ended up where we are. No complaints on the location though. We're only 10 miles away from PG but due to the drive up into the hills its almost 30 minutes away. I went into Pigeon Forge for groceries and booze for the household. I very quickly decided I am a Colorado mountain guy and not a Tennessee mountain guy. I knew what PG/Gatlinburg were going to be like before we got here. There are three Trump stores in the general area and Rebel flag clothes are prominently displayed at the other stores. No shocker but still amazing to see. This was really just a trip to check SMNP off the list. So any way, here's the view from our deck.
  11. Maybe, but my initial search was for a Tuesday night. Unless the Titans are doing some MACtion, I don't think that would be an issue. Highly recommend Read House in Chattanooga. We were within walking distance of several good restaurants (Community Pie and Tupelo Honey) and an easy drive to several others (Clyde's and Little Coyote). Just got to the house outside of Pigeon Forge. I can't wait to check out the Trump Store we passed on the way in. But I get this view from the balcony for the next 3 days...
  12. I bet several dudes have.
  13. If we can work him into some wheel routes like Fozzy was so good at, that would be nice.
  14. Grabbing a surf board and becoming legend.
  15. I mean, in fairness there is an ou in Houston.
  16. The punt return iced the dame but that run might have been the play of the game.
  17. The plan was to hit Hot Springs, then on to Nashville to break up the driving with the last few days in a cabin near the Smoky Mountains. The whole road trip idea went out the window and we're flying into Chattanooga instead with a couple of nights there and then up to a place near Gatlinburg.
  18. Needs a "Hey you guys!!!!"
  19. Why don't you turn the backyard stage into a Texas watch party?
  20. We just need to go backyard ball and let Arch roll left and right and either find someone or scramble for yards. Stop with this shit.
  21. It's not the Ritz or St. Regis but it's not the HoJo either. Definitely upper tier.
  22. If we do this trip, we'd be in the Nashville area next Tuesday. There's nothing crazy going on there that day. As for "other" places, I am all for staying in smaller towns or suburbs in "lesser" brands. I do it all the time but I wa more amazed at what the higher and mid tier has gotten.
  23. They're outrageously high pretty much everywhere. We are planning a last minute road trip and one of our stopovers is probably going to be in the Nashville area. Even places 20-30 miles away in Franklin or Murfreesboro are still pushing $300 for a mid tier Marriott property next week. And its not just Nashville. The Westin in downtown Houston is $650. W Dallas is $1200. JW Marriott in downtown Chicago is $975. I would have assumed prices would be much lower due to decreased demand and the time of the year. What gives?
  24. Charlie Kirk is Mr Hands. It all makes sense now.
  25. Dean Martin was very underrated as an actor. The scene in the bar where the ruffian tosses the coin in the spitoon is amazing.
