  1. I'm guessing, smoked piglet ribs with tempura crunch, wasabi mayo and maple syrup. I'd eat that.
  2. Neighbors are worried that there might be a few films left behind as well. Amirite? Oh, and don't forget the safe word: FLÜGGÅӘNKб€ČHIŒßØLĮÊN
  3. New bride complaining she's not getting enough Champ lately?
  4. ECULENT Never heard of it. Anyone been?
  5. So in a town with a literal plethora of fine BBQ options, the in-the-know crowd is sucking on Jeff Bezos' rib bone? You people disgust me.
  6. As noted above I saw Floyd in concert in the 70s, 80s and 90s and Waters in the 00s and 10s. Favorite band, hands down. That said, I'll take the Meddle to The Wall run as the best in history. They had some great songs post Waters but the albums weren't as strong front to back. But those five? Just wow.
  7. I know this post was almost a year ago, but would you care to share your recipe for cochinita pibil?
  8. No idea who did it, but it's at 1,000,069 as I write this. Congrats Surly.
  9. Axshully, it's the opposite - it's the Second Amendment Haters that only see the gun. The gun guys just see dat azz. Edited to add: See, it "triggers" them. 😉
  10. Who will make Surly's 1,000,000th post? Now at 999,000 +.
  11. Pics of opposing attorney? (Is this Nam?) ETA: Don't do this.
  12. Too late to edit but shrimp and oysters don't automatically come with but make a killer add-on.
  13. If you can catch the Randall's Fresh, it is great. Popeyes used to be great but after they got bought up a few years ago, the quality and the size of the pieces dropped considerably. Frenchys can be great or it can be damned pedestrian at any of the expansion locations. BBQ Inn in Houston is great and comes with old school ambiance. Bonus is that you also get a couple of fried shrimp and/or fried oysters by the piece on the side. You should do that.
  14. Speaking of the Texas Chili Parlor, does anyone know what's up with their website? It's in Indonesian and running it through Google Translator gives some strange phrases.
  15. Nope. You're wrong. I was replying specifically to Macanudo and quoted him saying he started senior year at 18. I was noting that if HE had been held back a year in say the third grade, HE would have started senior year at 19. I know, I know...Maths: how do they work? In fact, like your son, I started and finished my senior year at 17. I was not held back a year. 😉
  16. But if you had been held back a year, you would have started your senior year at 19!
  17. ... and just $25, same as in town!

    Good Bakery

Specifically looking for a good rustic style ciabatta. Looking for something "airier" and less dense than Whole Foods' version. Something like this: Whatcha got?
  19. "Crack" is even in its name. You've been warned.
