  1. It’s a start.
  2. I’ve actually gone back, and watched the first few seasons on YouTube the last several months (I started watching when it aired probably around S3 or 4 back in the day), but it’s horrible quality on YT, so I’ll check out the Amazon recommendation (I hope OP means it’s available with a Prime subscription and not buying the episodes). The show took a while to get its footing: S1 had in the cast a completely unfunny young female college student to help out at the inn. They thankfully dumped her in S2 for her “cousin,” Stephanie Vanderkellen (the actually funny Julia Duffy). Worse, S1 and S2 had one of the worst characters in TV history, the completely irredeemable Kirk, the compulsive liar who owned the Minuteman Cafe next door. Not funny, needy, annoying, pick your synonym for shitty. And he had a MAJOR role. He was finally dropped and essentially replaced by Peter Scolari’s hilarious Michael. The “Larry/Darryl/Darryl” thing actually gets really old when binging. And I would do unspeakable things to a young Julia Duffy. The rewatch reveals Newhart has a certain asshole quality. Yes, there’s the obvious sane guy surrounded by idiots dynamic that’s the core of the show, but he’s also kind of a dick, so that’s even funnier. Favorite line came during an early episode about UFOs, as Joanna asks Dick Louden (Newhart), “Why would aliens pick Vermont?” After a long beat, Newhart deadpans, “Schools?”
  3. Holy fuck, some of you guys can dig into the most meaningless shit and not let go. Nine year old draft evaluations debated in a thread about a 2023 team.
  4. Maybe he’s got a DeLorean, a flux capacitor and a fresh supply of plutonium…
  5. Jeffcoat was explosive, but unfortunately, that was his GI tract.
  6. Another quote from that movie would seem to apply to Mandel.
  7. Sam Khan has much better eyesight than I… or worse… if he saw Jonathan Brooks carry the football during the spring game.
  8. Their current team chemistry is 93% tetrahydrocannabinol.
  9. From Gerry Hamilton’s article: Could be NIL, or could be what he said in the quote, screw the Big 10, give me Austin and Bo Davis (and surely enough NIL without being as asshole about it).
  10. This seems… unusual. Wordle 667 4/6 ⬜⬜⬜⬜⬜ ⬜⬜⬜⬜⬜ ⬜⬜⬜⬜⬜ 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩
  11. You’ve got to hand it to Napoleon for such a derail on a short take.
  12. I’ll admit Eva Green is a somewhat odd choice for the poster to use as “the woman in the world I’d most like to fuck,” but she’s got giant tits and anyone of us would probably be lucky to get the time of day from her.
  13. You seem normal and well reasoned. What the fuck are you doing on the Football board?
  14. Please take AD Mitchell out and place him in bubble wrap.
  15. I was just about to suggest no Charles Wright today must mean portal, but there he is.
  16. He was on the pregame show
  17. Only thing I know about Landwehr is you should never start one in Asia.
  18. RGIII claiming Worthy tracks the ball “second to none” (allegedly a Sarkisian quote) is literally the dumbest fucking thing I’ve ever heard (yes, I know the proper use of “literally”). Here’s hoping he has indeed actually learned to track a football in the air. Coach Chris Jackson already earning his pay.
  19. So, he was married to the chick in the gold bikini that had all the nerds wanking their lightsabers, but he really wanted Han’s solo?
  20. Prescient. Nice work. https://247sports.com/college/texas-am/Article/Texas-AM-football-Jacoby-Mathews-arrest-208266037/
  21. Rivals started in ‘97 I believe, fuck, Max Emfinger and his perm were scamming dumb fucks to pay for faxes back in 1979. Recruiting news has been around a long time, and as soon as the Internet was a thing in the mid to late 90’s, there was recruiting news on it.
  22. Gerry Hamilton now says the Haith hire is a done deal, and says Steve McClain will return on the bench.
  23. Savion Red isn’t a walk-on, he’s one of the top stories of the spring. And since Murphy was the QB, it was backups (3rd team?) perhaps vs. twos, and they scored on a long run that probably doesn’t happen very often. I’m glad they have emotion and support their teammate. Plus, it’s a good sign how his teammates reacted to Red, he’s known to have a strong personality, so it’s probably accepted by the team rather than frowned upon.
