It’s bulk pickup weekend. I expect people bitching about the scavenging poors roaming the neighborhood soon.
It was around the date of this post that I noticed a neighborhood by the shop (bad, BAD area) had all kinds of bulk trash, junk furniture etc lined up down the street. The next day you would have sworn there was a block long garage sale going on. Homeless people were strapping bed frames, mattresses, nasty ass old living room chairs etc to shopping carts, homemade wagons etc and dragging them off. By the next day the street side was nearly empty, so the bulk trash haulers had very little to deal with.
Sad situation, but at the same time "someone" is getting use out of the junk.

I am dispelling the belief that the Corps of Cadets are synonymous with the ROTC departments, and they certainly are not. Those pursuing a commission through one of the three ROTC departments are a cut above the average Corps dork who is taking the course for a leadership minor and a couple of free credits. Unless they are contracted to a branch of service, they cannot even take classes in ROTC past the Sophomore year.
As for the dorms and Ramirez, they would be there anyway, as those students would have to have a place to live anyway. Name them what you want, but those buildings and faculty would be there regardless of who or what they are called. Stop pole vaulting over mouse turds.
You're starting to sound very aggy in your defense of the sheep humpers.

I hope my life never gets to the point where I need to pay payments with insane interest on a couch and tv. Then having to go on social media to ask if someone can pay my 'Furniture Bill'.
Tell that ho, get back on the floor.

We took the kids out of town last week for a few days. Yesterday I went to get a cup out of the cabinet and find all the cups from the hotel room still in their original plastic wrap that my wife brought home. I won’t even begin to discuss the mound of baby shampoo and soaps that she has stored up.
My now 12 year old granddaughter got on a kick when she was around 5 that she wanted "paw-paw" to bring home all the hotel/motel shower soaps and shampoos from when i traveled for work, which was all the time. In a pretty short amount of time I had saved up 3 complete bathroom drawers completely with soaps/shampoos which I sent home with her.
A couple of months passed and her birthday rolled around. Her mother called me horrified that my granddaughter had make up the "thank you" packs, or whatever they're called for the kids that came to her party out of hotel/motel shampoos/soaps. Paw-Paw was banned from ever bringing those things home to granddaughter again

I threw my used-up deodorant container in the bathroom trash. A couple hours later I see my wife carrying it downstairs and I’m like WTF? She’s trying to recycle it. I made her put on her reading glasses and look at the bottom of it. Not recyclable. For a reason.
Thank God she hadn't cleaned her reading glasses in the microwave yet.

Probably should be shot for even thinking this way, but there have been so many EP documentaries and specials the last few months I could not even garner enough interest to even check it out. Sounds like I missed a good one.

Do you have a company coming out to cut and take the timber? If not why? Hardwoods? If you are doing it are you going to burn or bury the cut timber? Do you currently have coastal? If not are you going to Sprig it? If you plan on broadcasting seed, good luck. Disc, seed, drag and pray. You need to take soil samples in different parts of the pasture. You probably need to at least lime it. 1 ton an acre.

Arthur Whittington\
Calvin(?) Blackwell
Marion HarperAll from Cuero. There is a question mark in relation to Calvins name due to the fact he was the left side defensive end responsible for the QM (me) on our veer offense. Between himself and Mr Harper I had the worst of my concussions in high school. I remember the following Monday watching film and our coach screaming "dammit shooter, you've got to protect yourself", to which shooter replied, "gotta fucking gun"? Many gassers followed much laughter.
Also played against a guy from Uvalde named Ronnie Rogers, who I think wound up at UT on scholarship but was lost to personal and or drug problems. Or at least those were the rumors.
Edit: Would be unfair to leave out a teamate, Terry Monroe. He was a beast of a man even as a small child. He wound up at UH and did the journeyman defensive lineman thing in the NFL for a few years. Damned glad I didn't have to play against him.

lots of variables mainly due to what do you consider "good" grazing? being in deep East Texas is there a lot of timber or is this open pasture with coastal? Are you going to install rotational grazing or just put the cows out and check on them once a week or so? do you have sudan/sorghum seeded or some millet and cow peas or just bermuda? a lot of it depends on the nutrient density of your grass and how often you plan on giving the pasture a rest. id say an animal unit to 10 acres. great pasture using highly intensive rotational grazing could be an animal unit for every 2 or 3 acres especially if you strip graze.
I plan on clearing out 95% of the timber and going with coastal to start. So I guess it could be said I'm starting from scratch and seeking out more knowledgeable people on how to get started and get the most bang for my buck.
