  1. It should be less than $2k especially if easy access. I got a quote for $1.7k a couple of years ago and my tank is in the attic.
  2. My wife has great results with this cut-in paint tool. I’ve never used it myself, but if it helps her it must be good! https://www.homedepot.com/p/Shur-Line-4-75-in-x-3-75-in-Edger-Pro-2006561/202080280
  3. Make sure the tape is pressed firm and aligned well on the masked surface. This is the only real trick. Pull up the tape while the paint is wet. That should work well but you can still always wipe up bleed through since the paint is still wet. Do not pull up the tape once the paint has dried since that could rip up the paint.
  4. Looks like Sony just released and updated version - A8G. So from the time I started this thread, the set dropped from $2300 to $2000. LOL Just need a sale now...
  5. Wow, I can’t wait for all the wonderful embroidery advice you’ll get from the board.
  6. It’s big business. How do you think the Chinese get the footage for their reality TV?
  7. Use better locks? Ask the neighbors to keep a look out? Neighbor Watch? Hire a security guard?
  8. If you can pocket any savings from installing the fan yourself, then by all means DIY. Btw, $300 sounds like a great price for the surge protector. I’ve been told it’s closer to $500.
  9. Learn me about upscaling... would it just be from a 4K disc player with up scaling capability?
  10. It’s up to. It’s not a difficult task but it’s a pain in the neck imo. I personally hate working overhead. If you want to install it and save on the labor, I don’t think it’s a problem. What would he charge or what’s the labor rate for an electrician? $70? While you have the electrician you should look at installing a whole house surge protector.
  11. Soft bristle brush. Get you a nice 2” angled paint brush for dusting crevices. After dusting, apply your detailed or protectant.
  12. Nope it was on a new install. My only gripe was that the spring clamps for the wires are a pain in the ass to push down to get the wire in or out for the zones
  13. TV is 46” at 10’ viewing distance. Don’t think I could go bigger than 55” (home politics)
  14. Rachio /thread It’s my favorite IoT and it’s not even close. It’s stupid easy. It does everything your controller does today, makes that easy and does even more like use weather station data . You can even customize watering based on soil samples, types of heads, etc. Do you remember what zone 8 is? Nope, me neither. With Rachio you take a picture of what gets watered with zone 8 and assign it to the app. It’s so easy even my wife can use it. When my wife asks if I can change the watering schedule for her garden, I tell her nope ... look at the pictures and follow the menu.
  15. The younger they are, bigger the age gap. There is a significant difference between (27 vs 18) and (37 vs 28). Heck, I dated a 21 year old when I was 17 for over 2 years. It was a great until we realized we really both were at different stages in life. It was a huge age gap and it didn’t surface for a couple of years. From my experience, here is my assessment : Probability of something bad happening in your situation is high. Probability of a long term healthy and stable relationship is low. Probability of something in between is well, in between
  16. Currently have a 7 year old Sony 1080p/60Hz. Looking at the Sony 55” A1E. But not sure I’ll like the picture $2500 better. Is it worth it? Most things we watch are streaming Netflix, Amazon, YouTube TV.
  17. By chance did you get an estimate for the back?
  18. In theory, this is correct. From my experience from replacing all shut offs with quarter turn ball valves in my house, I can say they will perform the same in the long run. I have valves that are less than 10 years old that won’t completely shut off. I learned that when I installed the bidet.
  19. I had Audio Mobile install a Pioneer head unit and backup camera a couple years back. It’s south off of Lamar. Victor is the owner and operator. Similar to you I got it for android auto and apple car play.
  20. I had a friend get his Titan done at Car Toyz with 2 tone leather and it cam out nice. I was thinking of doing the same for my F150. However I need to add a headrest to the middle seat in the back first. Anyone know of an auto custom shop that would weld one on to the frame? The seat doesn’t have slots for the headrest and the kids are now tall enough to where they should have one.
  21. I got something cheap on Amazon and use Torque Lite for the app. I’m not sure about intimate thoughts since I just got it to read and clear codes when we went to the mountains. The thin air kept tripping codes. Just make sure you get one that is compatible with your phone since some are android or Apple only. You likely need to buy the full Torque version of the app.
  22. But did it come with a lot of ice cream?
  23. Yup good call...not sure why I didn’t see it.
  24. Mrs. Cannon goes away for the weekend for a ladies retreat. I stay home with the 4 kids. On Saturday morning half of us go grocery shopping, the other half clean house. Saturday afternoon we host a board game play date and have kids’ friends over for dinner. Saturday night, the kids and I have a movie night and my brothers-in-law comes over crashes on the couch - he needs help with his car and showed up a day early. Sunday morning I do all the work on his car (swapping out parts of his tiny crammed as fuck Japanese contortionist-designed intake) because it’s clear he is in over his head. I thought it was a great weekend - we took care of business, the kids helped out and got along, we did fun things together, I helped my BIL with his car. We ate healthy and made badass salads through out the weekend. Wife comes home, immediately starts complaining about random shit and goes into OCD floor cleaning mode. WTF.
  25. Why? This video demonstrates the effectiveness at close range. I actually have been thinking of downsizing and customizing a 410 as my primary HD weapon.
