  1. Her storyline this season has been the worst. And that’s saying something.
  2. Sark has always been a big IZ guy. He loves it for the RPO game. (see here for example). Also, we ran a ton more IZ with Brooks last year. I think our move to OZ is due as much to our backs this year as our OL.
  3. The constant underthrows on deep routes are partly a coaching issue at this point. It's like he's not even trying to make a correction. It's like a pitcher that keeps missing high. Miss low motherfucker.
  4. Sark has switched to almost exclusively outside zone without Baxter. We really need more inside zone for this offense to click.
  5. Sark is clearly a top 5 coach. We've made it to the final 4 two years in a row. Who the fuck else would you even think about trading him for? He's elite at program building and play design. He's mid at play calling and game management. And at starting the right QB. It is what it is. But, oh well, it could be far, far worse. See 2010 - 2020.
  6. Can't win a title with a jag QB. he has to make some plays.
  7. Another breakdown video. This guy always has a flair for the dramatic, which is not really my thing, but there is some interesting stuff in here on the systems and the APU.
  8. I found this breakdown helpful. He certainly seems to think they had at least 1 working engine and some flight controls for the flare.
  9. Great: Day, Fineman, Gardner, Sherman, do not destroy, weekend update, the commercials (generally) Ok: Dismukes, Johnson (Trump amazing, otherwise meh), Nwodim (beautiful), Thompson (how the fuck is he still doing this? he doesn't bother me though), maybe Yang Dreadful: Hernandez (no range, same bit every sketch), Longfellow, Wickline (holy nepotism), Wakim, Padilla, maybe Yang
  10. I only remember the titjob pics. I do not remember cooter/butthole pics.
  11. I handle marketing and web domains. I have reserved: http://www.besthugeglocks.com for you. PM me for my payment details.
  12. My kids played in a nicer stadium than this in middle school.
  13. haven't watched a snap of this, but I'm just here to say fuck Tim Beck. @Fuck Tim Beck
  14. Didn't realize this bullshit. Back to the big 12.
  15. We've played some really shitty passing teams this year that have covered up how vulnerable we really are against the pass.
  16. I didn't think episode 6 was horrible. Not great, but I was expecting worse.
  17. Baseball movies > football movies.
  18. It's the worst of both worlds for me now. They don't make good drama movies anymore. It's all comic book shit for overgrown children. The great drama writing is definitely on TV/streaming . . . but great editing also died long ago. So instead of a tight 2 hour mystery or drama, we get some bloated 8-10 hour nonsense. Case in point: presumed innocent the movie vs the steaming pile of shit from apple.
  19. Because presumably then everyone else will want that tech. Or, at the beginning, at least want it to be used to transport goods ("why not make our lives easier??"). But then information will travel more quickly. And porters will become obsolete, so a whole slew of new jobs will have to be found for them in an economy that is constrained in obvious ways. This will only snowball, leading to all other sorts of downstream (or upstream?) consequences that are hard to anticipate for central planners. Innovation and progress are very "bad" for the silo's order. It's better to let the people enjoy some low level relics as a form of rebellion rather then let them get a taste of what actual creative destruction might look like.
  20. I'm glad they are not drawing it out. Honestly, this season has been a bit meh to me. Notice there's not much discussion of the episodes on this thread. There's not much really to discuss. It's painfully slow at times. Am I supposed to really care about these mechanical characters? They seem 2 dimensional and just thrown out at us. Meh. If they die, they die. the deus ex machina, particularly on the stairs, is annoying and frankly insulting Sims is a shit character and actor and needs to be offed. I actually think the show would benefit by less focus on characters that we don't care about and more on the intrigue of the silo, not just in its origin story, but also how it works to maintain order, hierarchy, and custom. It's a fascinating world and we see little of the institutional details. Take for example the porters, who are just convenient backstabbers in this episode. But they are critical to the movement of good across the silo. And the grappling hook would presumably make them obsolete (and allow for quicker flow of information), which the founders can't have for many layered reasons. I find this much more interesting and thought provoking than whether the head of mechanical makes it or not.
  21. If I get out of this hole I'm going to Tupelo
  22. The coach is a real piece of work, is what I have heard.
