  1. honestly, it seemed run of the mill fox to me.
  2. This is the natural result of putting a carnival showman as president. He has never said "things aren't perfect" in his life. He can only deliver news that is "we are either doing great now," or "things are going to be great very soon."
  3. based on what is currently available on Netflix, Amazon Prime, and youtube. 9-11. Get the Gringo (get into the lockdown mood) 11-12:30 Clue (trapped in a house, likely someone will kill someone else) 12:30-1 Youtube some Slim Charles scenes of The Wire - "That was for Joe." "Bona Fide Church Lady." "Night of Jackal shit" 1-2 Tom Segura stand up 2-3:30 Raiders of the Lost Ark, ff from getting the ark until the sub base. 3:30-6:30 Band of Brothers, Curahee, Bastogne, Why We Fight 6:30-8:30 Shawshank (reminder of lockup before you go to sleep) 8:30-9:30 Pulp Fiction scenes - Honey Bunny, You Flock of Seagulls, You Hear that Hill Billy Boy?, Just Don't Dig on Swine That's All. 9:30-10 Youtube two Seth Meyers A Closer Look
  4. and end the republic as we know it?!
  5. Gross. When he said he was going to have a woman as his running mate, I assumed he knew who, and was doing sort of a teaser roll-out of the announcement. Now it just looks like that was the qualifying criteria. It has a wisp of tokenism to it.
  6. Only referring to Trump’s traits, say why he is the right person to lead the country. trump is good because he - has a in depth understanding of the government functions around him. - surrounds himself with the kind of expertise necessary to make difficult decisions. - embodies the American spirit I think the country should take on. - can unify the country in times of need. - is singleminded In his focus on improving the lives of all Americans How do people picture him in their mind when they are voting for him? *caveat with all republican arguments are disingenuous these days, so my acknowledgement of that means you only get 50% of the epoints for drawing out continued conversation.
  7. A different approach: Do you believe Biden will surround himself with sycophants and ignore every bit of expertise on every relevant issue? (That's one of my main beliefs with why people were willing to vote for Trump. They don't think of him as the head of an org with 2,000,000 employees. They just think of him as the dude who gets to pop off on the issue of the day).
  8. lulz at seeing the last four years and being tempted to do it again.
  9. We're about to see some fancy ass battleships, I bet.
  10. yeah, i don't know who to trust here, the medical professionals that have expertise in the exact thing at hand or the guy that lies all the time.
  11. Yeah, he's been a dead man walking since 2016. When you win by a razor thin margin and every demographic has trended against you in the four years since, it's over. I agree with you: the only thing that can save him is a wildcard like this.
  12. I picked one stock when I started, the rest being market tracking ETFs, on 2/27 aka Apocalypse-eve: WORK. And I am in the black, brother. #stonks.
  13. 1) We need someone famous to die. I think it is becoming more and more true that we only can understand what is right in front of our face. Data from Italy doesn't do it. Data from Spain doesn't do it. Data [lulz] from China doesn't do it. We need to see it. Two ways to do that -- neighbors of everyone croaking, or a famous person croaking that everyone can feel is their neighbor. So, uh, thank you for your service, Mr. Hanks. 2) Who says prayer doesn't work? We've spent hours a day praying for stacks of dead boomer bodies come November 2020. The Lord works in mysterious ways.
  14. "Read that Again" is the best part of this, because it is a meme directed to your semi-literate demographic.
  15. rewatch. Watch again replay. Play again. recheck. Check again. rediculous. Diculous again.
  16. I don’t think you’re supposed to count by the stroke.
  17. I think the opposite. I imagine the stats aren’t there. But the racism is rampant. So many people need constant reminders that their race is the good race. Violence isn’t his it manifests itself typically, no offense to Jussie.
  18. I think you should have to pass out cards to people that says "I think Breitbart is as reliable as the NYT." I think people deserve a warning who they are dealing with.
  19. Aside: 3M is a terrific company in general. The shit they make is top notch. I always make it a point to get 3M adhesive bandages instead of shit ass Johnson and Johnson band aids.
  20. I suppose we should be glad that you've moved on from misrepresenting the first tweet, now we are on to the next one. Such is the whack a mole of discussions with Republicans these days. They don't care if they are wrong. They just want to talk. Biden never says he's not shutting down travel to diseased places. It's the bad faith of Republican discussions, and it's a waste of time to have them. But I'll give you a hint: he's trying to contrast his stances with Trump's, because he is going to run against him. He's not pointing out where they overlap, but where they differ: Stopping flights to diseased places isn't enough. We need a real plan in the US--something Trump is showing that he is incompetent at. I vacillate from thinking Trump defenders are retards and Trump defenders are just contrarians funnin' around.
