  1. Or run the play clock down on the other end of the field.
  2. I would hope that entails leaving him in the field so that the buzzards could pick over his carcass.
  3. They were "under the hood" for over 5 minutes looking for a way to give KSU ball that Ford clearly recovered, but they couldn't find it. Also noted that the original call on the field was to give possession to KSU even though Ford came out of the pile with the ball. Seems like that might be a spot for a review without having to call a time out. IOW, yeah those fuckers were looking to screw us...
  4. IK have heard criticism of UW playing soft coverage when PK was here and Lake was the HC
  5. Texas. 41 tcu. 24 rush. 147 QE lights em up in his return
  6. JMO, but I thought for sure the runner would be safe but Ardoin made a great tag. Earlier, Kimble threw out a runner where I thought his mechanics looked great. Extremely small sample size & again JMO but of the two plays I thought Kimble looked better. If they are close defensively, I would expect Ryan to get the nod because of the pop in his bat.
  7. Yeah, since it only cost us a National Championship. How about you go fuck yourself, Mom?
  8. During their home game against Crane, the clock ran the entire second half and Crane played their JV. Crane won 68-0. Crane won that district, and they will likely win only their first playoff game as in recent years.
  9. Horns 27 Mildcats 21 Punting yds 222 We had the Cornshuckers number from jump. It has taken a while to get the purple wizards, but we retain our recent ownage and beat them plus the Rig 12 refs.
  10. Lot of criticism of aggy D on this thread. This totally ignores the fact that Durkin has yet to kill a player since entering CStat.
  11. Maybe we: (a) take a delay of game penalty to get further from the goal line or (b) kick a fucking FG?
  12. Duncanville has had a running clock in at least 3 district games (maybe 4), so I understood the hype. but you always have to wait for the ink to dry before making "greatest ever" claims. jmo
  13. Gotta come clean on one thing: I stole the WWE from Bobby Burton. Just feel like it is such a good analogy, I gonna go with it.
  14. My seats are in the upper deck, so I usually can't see the fuckery involving holding. The pics above make it look like yesterday's game was even worse than usual. Rig 12 refs are encouraged by their WWE Commissioner & crooked deputy commissioner. That conference needs to be excomunicated from any power grouping until they fix that and games have some sort of integrity. It's a shame there is no accountability for these frauds.
  15. some of us dont live in Austin.
  16. That assumes that UM is in the playoffs. Their schedule is back loaded, so that may be probable, but not a done deal yet.
  17. The NCAA will not act before season end because of their processes, and I don't think the conference will act this season either. The question is whether UM will sack up and sack Jim. They have to know that it is appropriate, but will they sacrifice this season? (Of course, they should imo.)
  18. Rick Neuheisel was on Sirius XM radio this morning talking about this staffer being next to the UM DC last year during the tOSU game, and he would wait until Day sent in the play before furiously sending signals to the D. Not only the staffer, but other coaches and players who all evidently knew the tOSU signals. Neuheisal went over his story in great detail and is convinced that this information will be the end of the Harbaugh era at UM (will go to the Bears, which of course is widely speculated anyway).
  19. Don't disagree, but he did miss a year in HS also.
  20. Ewers to Colt is a comparison that just should not be made. One thing that has not been included in these discussions is that Ewers has still just played 14 games. I realize that excuse is not endless, but he really has just completed his freshman season if we're being fair. He's had a lot of ups and downs, but the ceiling is probably high - unfortunately it is not going to happen in Austin. That is frustrating, but c'est la vie.
  21. I get that they had 8 in coverage, but were they not doing that earlier in the drive? We had moved it on that drive by dumping off passes. Why did we have to run all three downs? To a dummy like me, it just seems like you create more space.
