  1. This, quite literally. Those imbeciles get so desparate in hiring coaches that they blow the pay scale to smithereens. The numbers seem comical now, but they essentially did the same thing with Jackie Sherrill as they did with Fisher sans the non-buyout provision. So fucking desparate - apparently more for attention than actually winning.
  2. Roy Williams ran a 10.30 at UT. He ran a 10.18 at Odessa Permian that was wind-aided, but just barely over the cut-off for that designation. He was an athletic freak.
  3. Kelshaun is fast, which is what we need. Will take Terry too.
  4. I think we're already starting to see it with Baker, evidenced by #45. Very surprising this season.
  5. Slight variation for me.
  6. Well isn't that peachy.
  7. Well, you need to have someone to hang out with when Derek Jeter isn't available. 😉
  8. Quoted just to see TSRH again, and I can't rec twice.
  9. Fucking A
  10. I wanna punch the Elk. Thinking that soft belly will save my fist.
  11. UT 30 Mich 19 Mich rec yds 153
  12. Actually it is not criminal as aggy agreed to it. In fact those idiots agreed to it twice. Any time you see something off and think "how stupid can they be", just remember this. 🤣
  13. Any kid that is a hybrid football/baseball athlete and saw what Schloss did with that shit hole aggy program would be an idiot not to commit to Texas.
  14. Not sure if true, but sure makes more sense.
  15. I don't think they will be that great at the beginning of the season, but I will not be surprised if they are stout in the back half.
  16. Not to mention pitchers who ducked out. aggy all the way.
  17. In general this seems to be what I would expect, however Krazy Kiffin and Norvell at Free Shoes seemed to excel. This is just from memory, so if my examples are incorrect please fire away.
  18. While this is undeniable, I give Super Bill a lot of credit for the way he handled it. Changed positions twice in '68 and never complained, a real team player. Of course, it also worked out pretty well for him also. 😉
  19. fuck. hope he gets burned often at CB
  20. He won more games than Street, but he also lost more. That’s a big deal imo. Us olds remember the turmoil around the program entering the 1968 season. Difficult to remember now, but I would argue that James Street saved DKR’s job.

  22. Street was not just the catalyst for the team back then, but somewhat of a rock star on campus. I grew up in the same small town with his 1969 roommate OT Bob McKay. Bob once told me they had to get an unlisted phone number because of all of the girls calling. He added "they sure as hell weren't calling me."
