  1. It’s definitely not ideal, but it’s the best preschool anywhere around here. The last time they held registration, people parked RV’s in the parking lot a week ahead of time in order to get in line. It’s insane. Also, we do pre-pay for doctors visits. Isn’t that what insurance is?
  2. We are not sending her this year. We are paying 25% of the tuition to hold her spot instead of trying to find a new school.
  3. My kids pre-school started their fall session on Monday. Today they quarantined an entire class due to a student testing positive for Covid-19. They made it two days. Two fucking days.
  4. We have two of these at $98/each
  5. You would be absolutely correct.
  6. This is the place. Can’t get a good shot of the flags from google earth.
  7. That looks like a house out in Kildare that was rumored to be the meeting place for the KKK. My dad and I went in there one day because the dude ran a welding shop and he was supposed to weld something for the tractor. The place was creepy as fuck with all the nazi memorabilia that was strewn about. I’ll look for pictures of it.
  8. Are you not familiar with Stanco? There is only one way this will end.
  9. Every time you lift overhead, you have to make sure the full swing radius of the crane is clear. It gets to be a bitch (and stops a lot of work) if your continually stopping work to make a lift over the top of the structure. It makes sense to do it at night with less people on site so you’re not impacting other work as much.
  10. Is this enough hand sanitizer for one car?
  11. Back when the additional money was first added to unemployment, we had contract electricians (journeymen and helpers) that were begging to be RIF’ed so they could get unemployment. The grocery store owners hourly pay rate has shit to do with some people’s desire to work if they can make it on what they get in the mailbox.
  12. Is that Dana Carvey with the white tuba over his left shoulder and bronze one over the right? Also, is the second dude from the right on the back row 50?
  13. Please post the rep for the OP. How much do the negs outweigh the positives by?

    Shit My Kid Says

I picked my kids up the other day from the sitter and my three year old got in the car going on and on about Jake. I asked her who Jake is and she looked me dead in the eye and said “Jake from farm”. Last night she had a toy phone and she was calling Jake from farm. That commercial is on every ten minutes and she never noticed it. Now she will be talking about/to Jake from farm for months. It’s amazing what they can either ignore completely or latch on to.
  15. Because those always work out or is my sarcasm meter on the fritz?
  16. Looks like it’s from some place called Dairy Fair in Indiana. https://mobile.twitter.com/86stephen5309/status/1281765078837219328
  17. Now let’s work on getting that response time down under 500 ms. [emoji16]
  18. Can I get a flowchart for this clusterfuck of a thread? I need to know which factions are which and who I need to be agreeing with.
  19. Yup. It’s been pretty solid. The only thing I’ve had to do to it outside of changing the oil is replace the oil pressure switch. I did have a fuse blow today in the transfer switch when the power blipped a couple of times so I had to order a replacement for it.
  20. If I remember correctly you are somewhere near me. I bought mine from Nantze Electric and they took care of everything. I got the 22KW natural gas generac with the automatic transfer switch. They coordinated everything from having the gas meter upgraded to accommodate the addition flow to scheduling the electric company to come pull the meter. They were great and I had zero complaints. The only thing I upgraded was the cable from the generator to the transfer switch. They typically install aluminum cable and I upgraded to copper. I think we were somewhere in the $8500 range all in.
  21. On the masks, Old Navy sells child size masks that are multiple layers. We bought those for our kids and some cord locks from amazon that will make them fit snugly to their faces. The cord locks fit so tightly on the straps that you can wash them and don’t have to worry about the cord locks coming off. Pro (just the) tip: Thread a string through the hole in the cord lock, tie it around the strap and pull everything back through. You have to keep the string/knot small, but it will fit. I pulled a small section of butcher twine out of a length and used it.
