  1. With GLP-1 products out there, it has never been easier to lose weight than it is now. I can’t understand how his NIL isn’t tied to “needing a thinner spokesperson*”. *😉 acting like this isn’t pay-to-play.

    1) And was known as NTSU. 2) And Bourbon & Coke rained down over the student section (along with plastic cups). Even in the injury tent, Reed is better than Arch.

  11. Full disclosure… I thought that “El Alto” was the nickname for La Paz. 😳
  12. Brazil got “CONCACAF-ed” in La Paz last night. Brazil chief: 'We played against referees and police' vs. Bolivia Adriana Garcia Sep 10, 2025, 11:17 AM Brazil's Football Federation president Samir Xaud spoke of the adversities his national team encountered in their 1-0 defeat against Bolivia in Tuesday's World Cup qualifier, stating "we played against the referees, the police and the ball boys." The five-time World Cup winners, who had already secured a spot in next year's tournament, lost their first game under coach Carlo Ancelotti at El Alto. Miguel Terceros converted a penalty in the first-half of stoppage time after VAR review, a result that allowed Bolivia to advance to the playoff tournament for the 2026 World Cup in the final round of qualifying. "We came to play soccer, and what we saw from the moment we arrived was a completely anti-game," Xaud said. Ancelotti was unimpressed by the officiating and was captured on camera having words with the referees as they entered the tunnel at the interval. Xaud and Ancelotti both criticised the ball boys after the game and accused them of wasting time. Brazil coach Carlo Ancelotti was not happy with the refereeing as his side fell 1-0 to Bolivia. Buda Mendes/Getty Images Balls were thrown onto the pitch in the last stages of the game to disrupt Brazil's attacks. "Officials have to control that," Ancelotti said. "Not players, coaches, or the president." Xaud added: "Even at this altitude of 4,000 meters, we played against the referees, the police, and the ball boys, who were taking the balls off the field and putting them on the field. It was a real mess. This isn't what we expect for world football or South American football. What we want is to grow even further. "This kind of attitude, especially when playing at altitude, is difficult. I hope CONMEBOL takes action, precisely because we have everything recorded. This can't happen; it's absurd." Xaud was also "outraged" by how local police treated their delegation since their arrival in Bolivia but offered no details. "The police were horrible against the entire team, the entire coaching staff," he said. "It's something we don't expect. We welcome all the teams very warmly, we embrace them. We put everything at their disposal, and when we play outside of Brazil, especially here, the reception we receive here is absurd. I'm outraged." Brazil ended the campaign fifth in the standings, with 28 points, their worst finish in their World Cup qualifying history. Against Bolivia, Ancelotti, who took charge of the national team in May following the sacking of Dorival Junior, made numerous changes to the side that beat Chile 3-0 last week. Despite the loss, Ancelotti preferred to focus on the positives. "That [World Cup] is the goal," Ancelotti said. "I think we'll do well in the World Cup… 👇 Full Story https://www.espn.co.uk/football/story/_/id/46213750/brazil-chief-played-referees-police-vs-bolivia
  13. * “little bothered” should have an “r” after the “b”. El Grande Zendejas will never get “little brothered”… (My phone apparently was unfamiliar with the expression “little brothered” despite the number of times it has heard that term in the soccer podcasts that it has played for me over the years.)
  14. Like I said… 1) We would absolutely get a result tonight! 2) Arfsten is 💯% our best option at LB, and will definitely not be pure trash against quality opponents. 3) Zendejas is plenty big enough against top competition and will never get little bothered when posting up in the box to do a swinging volley for a goal while fighting off a defender.
  15. 1) She’s pretty. 2) What is Baris?
  16. I don’t think he does. Which is a good thing, because I don’t think that he’s getting one. We’re going to keep on losing while further solidifying which players are not up to World Cup standards. We will likely make the round of 16 due to being in Pot 1 and then it is a coin flip from there, but I don’t expect us to go further. I think that the round of 16 is the 2nd knockout round this tournament, so we will advance one round before being eliminated. ¡Yeah! (?)
  17. That would require a Euro camp so that they aren’t flying 6 to 10 hours (each way) just to practice. I don’t care if the tournament is in the USA next year, they should do what they can to accommodate the best players.
  18. I watched the last set & a half on a plane. (Didn’t see any of the match before that.) Sinner seemed off. Whether he was sick or injured, I don’t know. But he didn’t look like himself from the finals in the first three majors this year. These two kids are pretty good.
  19. Should be 4-1 at this point and Anisimova looks like fucking Ivan Drago’s grand daughter!
  20. Ummm… yes. Frequently.
  21. I think that there is a game coming up.
