  7. Poors suck down 50 years of capital's anti-union propaganda, get mad about the income/wealth distribution in this country, then vote for a charlatan blaming foreigners.

  9. You're probably not at risk of drowning in your own snot. My dog started developing seizures at about 14 years old. Culprit was the leftover Whataburger french fries I'd bring him on occasion. Probably should have stopped eating the fries.
  10. Renewal pretty close https://winteriscoming.net/amazon-and-sony-reportedly-pretty-close-to-renewing-the-wheel-of-time
  11. Tangent: Should have been employing people hanging car chargers from power poles. Should stop worrying about making sure the private sector makes a profit on the government's dime and create a new TVA instead. Wypipo's general aversion to discussing their own salaries benefits capital bigly.
  12. the current AF-1 air frames are pretty old (first flight in 1987), there's no new 4 engine aircraft coming out, and the air force really wants 4 engine aircraft for reasons. the VC-25s are currently older than the VC-137Cs were when the current planes replaced those two.
  13. ever heard of company towns? we're now a company state
  14. I have this monitor at the office. 4k is more pixels than typical ultrawide (8.3 million pixels vs 5 million pixels) with both more rows and more columns. That means a lot of space to work with, and I really find the added rows to be very important (documents are vertical, after all, and menu bars, ribbons, and the taskbar take up so much space). I have my laptop open on a stand next to it so I have that screen as well. I keep outlook, teams, and Clio running in a browser on the laptop screen and have the documents and things I'm working with on the monitor. With type C, video, power, and USB all go over 1 cable from the back of the monitor. Very convenient for setting up or packing up. Also isn't as noisy as the dell USB dock the rest of the office uses (it has a fan). I velcroed a USB hub to the back to take care of mouse dongles, the webcam, etc.
