  1. Ohio, not Florida. But I get the feeling that the only differenced between the two are the accents and the annual amount of snowfall.
  2. In 1997 Arizona beat UCLA 10-2 in 5 innings.
  3. Yes. 1983 and 1987. The WCWS was held in Omaha in those days. So the aggy women have had more success in Omaha than the baseball team. https://www.ncaa.com/history/softball/d1
  4. Don't know if this post is too late for the OP, but here you go. In the strip center where the Hardknocks sports bar is located, there is an Asian place that is pretty solid - Rice Hat. Other than that, Portland is pretty much nothing other than the national chains. Behind the Whataburger at 181 and Wildcat there is Yo Philly Cheesesteaks. They used to be located in Corpus on North Beach but relocated to Portland. Decent to solid cheesesteaks. I've only been once so obviously not a large sample size but the seafood place next to the cheesesteak place is, if nothing else, an option that is not a chain. LeStourgeon Seafood Company. Haven't been in a while but if you want a standard TexMex place then La Iguana on 5th Avenue and Moore Avenue is probably your best option. There or the Taqueria Guadalajara. You now have the option of stopping in at the knock-off Buc-ee's at 181 and Buddy Ganem and getting a burrito or a chopped beef sandwich. There is a Bill Miller's on the other side of 181 is that is your thing.
  5. Username checks out?
  6. If @blacklab does not have this coffee mug on his desk then what are we even doing here.
  7. Where do the land thieves fall on the spectrum? Behind aggy? Is it a 1A/1B type of situation where the only losers are those that have to deal with both?
  8. Passed away on Monday.
  9. One of the Osmonds that is not Donny or Marie passed away on New Year's Day. Wayne Osmond passes away at 73 years old.
  10. SIAP (not going to scroll back through the thread) but I like how one of the traditions of The University of Texas is ripping the heart out of Arizona State University.
  11. My apologies if you are being sarcastic and it is going completely over my head, but Kentucky football plays its home games at Kroger Field.
  12. Are we sure he is not more like Dieter from Sprockets? Dressed in skin-tight black and asking people to touch his monkey?
