  1. You'd also make them promise not to circle the game and not to give any extra effort, lol. No P4 is going to agree to 2 for 1. It doesn't work that way. It will always be a home-and-home. If UT doesn't want that, then pay for G6 home game or go home-and-home with bluebloods only. Looking at your future non-con, that appears to be the approach, though it does show home-and-home with Arizona State for 2032 and 2033.
  2. I think the House settlement also had a "clearinghouse" for NIL to evaluate whether the payments constitute legitimate NIL value and aren't just booster payments. It sounded really dumb and would almost certainly never even attempt to cancel an NIL deal. Even if it did, the name Manning itself would make his deals essentially limitless.
  3. Well yeah, they'd be better, but it's a dumb hypothetical. TT, BU, and TCU have established far supperior fanbases and national interest to TSU, UTSA, Rice, UNT, and Tulsa. SMU is showing it belongs in P4 competitively and the fanbase appears to be growing. UH has potential but I still don't think they belong, it is what it is at this point. Look, I get it, non-bluebloods that play UT regularly get a boost in tv ratings and interest. Neither I, nor Al, nor anyone else from that tier program that post on surly has disagreed. You keep saying, over and over and fucking over again that these programs bring "nothing" to the table and that "nobody" watches and "nobody" cares. That's just fucking dumb and wrong. If your vision is a separate division solely for bluebloods, just say it, there has been plenty of discussion about that possibility. The hyperbole about how "valueless" the current Big XII teams are is what is tiresome.
  4. Seriously, what a bitchass thought coming from a fan of a blueblood program. "They try too hard to beat us, oh noes!" And to be clear, this scenario would have payouts based on TV ratings, so UT still gets paid way more, and can bank playing other bluebloods with the 5 non-con/non-division games of their choosing, which would not affect their division standings and path to the playoff. The only part of Cody Campbell's proposal that stood out to me is collectively bargaining the TV contract expanding the overall pie. The bluebloods would still rake in the lion's share based on TV ratings. The future is not going to have even media distributions.
  5. Gamblers gonna gamble. Gundy making an NIL comment about Oregon's payroll drew attention to the game and therefore the gamblers. I think our defense can keep it within 28 points (lol) but it ain't gonna be pretty either way.
  6. I think all P4 programs are limited to $20M in rev share to players (for now at least). NIL is still the difference maker and I have no idea how Neby is doing in that regard. I assume nothing special since they still stink.
  7. You'll need to point me to any republican of note pushing back in any meaningful degree on this shit. The party is a rubberstamp for his agenda. They have armies of pollsters who are telling them to keep sucking his mushroom cock on everything he does. I'm not sure any of it really matters anymore.
  8. A Democrat hoax that was a cornerstone of his own campaign. I just can't anymore with these dipshits.
  9. Nah, they would still suck, and have less cashish. The money is all that matters anymore anyway.
  10. Sorry for partying.
  11. It was also two years on two years off, not a huge deal in my opinion, especially with the expectation of additional CCG matchups. Losing that as an annual game had nothing to do with the demise of the original conference membership. I mean, they are completely irrelevant in the BIG. Do they even have a rival? I read sometime ago about some Nebraska-Iowa history type rivalry. It was news to me, nobody fucking cares. They’re both bankrolling off of tOSU and Michigan money.
  12. It’s not gonna happen for a ton of reasons, but wouldn’t Texas be expected to dominate that division, and then have 5 non-con/non-division games to play other bluebloods?
  13. Nah, trauma doesn’t turn people into hateful cunts who call all Muslims terrorists and laughs at the torture of Hispanic people in Florida gulags and laughs at the notion of them being eaten by alligators. She also wholeheartedly supports the president who was found liable for rape by a jury. She doesn’t believe that victim was raped even after a jury heard detailed evidence and found that he did in fact commit rape. That’s just being a fucking cunt not the remnants of trauma. Edit: I’m sure there are situations where trauma can make people angry at the world and even certain people or groups of people and even if that were the case it’s far different to deal with that personally vs being a lawmaker who uses that to destroy the lives of ordinary people. But again, her claiming rape victim status and then shitting on the women who the president raped takes away any notion of compassion and in my view means she’s almost certainly a fucking liar about her supposed trauma.
  14. I generally don’t think women lie about sexual assault, but this bitch is a hateful lying cunt in general, so I assume she’s lying. If not fuck her anyway. She delights in the suffering of others, so fuck her, she deserves bad things.
  15. Maybe it’s still good in Texas but Whataburgers in Oklahoma have gone to complete shit. Sonics are fading fast too but are better than Whataburger.
  16. Pair him with Rogan for all I care if it helps close the revenue gap. Shane Gillis too, then we can also get some regular Big XII content from Derka.
  17. Fuck Jerruh and FUCK THE EAGLES. Both valid opinions.
  18. Hawke’s character, Lee Raybon, is based on a real Tulsan, Lee Roy Chapman. The character is described as a “citizen journalist” and “self-proclaimed Tulsa “truthstorian” whose obsession with the truth is always getting him into trouble.” Chapman was best known for an in depth article he wrote about one of Tulsa’s founders Tate Brady and his role founding the local KKK chapter and participation in the Tulsa Race Massacre among other bad shit. The part of downtown Tulsa north of the tracks and west of Greenwood was named the Brady Arts District. The main street was named Brady, a theater in the district was named the Brady Theater, and a nearby neighborhood where his mansion still sits was named Brady Heights. After the expose his name was taken off of all that stuff. I’m not sure if Chapman’s work directly involved other early KKK founders but after the Tate article other historical figures were exposed, including John Rogers whose name was on the University of Tulsa College of Law’s building and was thereafter removed. Sounds like this show has him doing similar stuff but exposing current day people. Really looking forward to this show. https://www.centerforpublicsecrets.org/post/the-nightmare-of-dreamland-tate-brady-and-the-tulsa-outrage https://www.centerforpublicsecrets.org/library/categories/lee-roy-chapman
  19. I’ve seen some clips and can discern that he’s a douche. If the conference makes significant money giving him a regular Big XII douche-bro hour on Sirius or some shit, sure go for it, money is all that matters anymore, it’s not like I have to listen.
  20. I think the expectation was that OU-NU would be a common matchup in the Big XII title game. It’s Nebys fault for sucking shit since ‘99.
  21. With lots of mayonnaise.
  22. So lots of mayonnaise?
  23. I’m focused in their statement that it was the other programs that opposed. Why would Utah, OKST, Tech, UCF, etc., be actively opposed to protecting that game? You can’t just say something like that without support.
  24. Re Farmageddon: So both ADs want it protected like BYU-Utah, etc., but the other programs don’t? I can’t think of a single reason the other programs would care much less be actively opposed. The unanimous opinion should be to protect the game. Is there anything out there providing any reasoning? @Al_4_ISU?
  25. Come on now, they’ll call you “deranged” if you point it out as insane bullshit.
