  1. Related. Stumbled upon this subreddit last night and kept myself up late chuckling my ass off at some of the comments: https://www.reddit.com/r/PizzaCrimes/ There are some monstrosities in here.
  2. Wrapped up the sale yesterday. Delivery tomorrow morning. Looking forward to tooling around the neighborhood this weekend once the weather clears up.
  3. It's becoming clear that all you have to do to get a pardon from Trump for white collar crime is toss his campaign some money, throw a MAGA hat on, and say that you were targeted by corrupt Democrats for being a big DJT supporter.
  4. Please name the more relevant factor to oil prices over the last 8 weeks than Trump.
  5. Deposit paid. Delivery sometime next week after they finish doing the full service tune-up and getting through the Memorial Day weekend glut of deliveries.
  6. They dropped the price $500 yesterday and confirmed it's only a $150 delivery fee. I'm heading up there on my lunch break to take a look in person. Decent chance I'm buying a golf cart today.
  7. It's absolutely disgusting outside. Neither "soupy" nor "swampy" successfully convey what Houston feels like this morning. This is some early August bullshit.
  8. Hey, we're 24-22 after 46 games. This time last year we were 20-26 and still had 5 weeks to go before reaching .500. Shit, we were still a month from bottoming out (33-40 and 10 games back on 6/18 before winning 9 of next 10).
  9. Nice W. Even better, I don't have to spend the rest of my Sunday afternoon pissed at dropping a series to the Rangers!
  10. 2-2 series split. Nobody goes home happy.
  11. Timely thread. I've been getting the itch as well and been keeping an eye out for what's available online the last few weeks. I want something I can drive around the neighborhood but also haul down to the beach or up to my deer lease, so definitely looking for something gas powered. Currently trying to figure out logistics of how I'm gonna store it and what size trailer I'll need. Looks like if I get a 2-seater (with fold down back seat convertible to cargo bed) I could get by with a 5 x 10 trailer. Have a decent size garage that only my wife parks in, so If i clear out a few things I think I'd have enough room to store the trailer in the garage and just park the cart on top of it. I found a just-barely-used 2022 model (less than 100 miles on the odometer) for sale at a dealership out in the burbs for a little under $5K. If they're willing to deliver, I'm getting pretty inclined to pull the trigger. I can worry about getting a trailer later. Only thing holding me back is the knowledge that while I'll likely enjoy it, I'm not naive enough to think it won't come with inevitable headaches.
  12. Waiting in line at Truth when it's 90+ and humid is no picnic.
  13. It took me a few episodes to really get into it. Really picks up towards the end of season 1 and then kicks into high gear for Season 2.
  14. Looks like they're permanently posted up outside Tikila's bar at 27th and Shepherd. Open Wed-Sat at 3, Sundays at noon. Might have to swing by one weekend soon. That brisket elote looks damn good.
  15. Pretty funny, but also gotta be the most accurate Elon impression I've seen. Dude has the accent and cadence down pat.
  16. WTI catching a breather after the UK and China "deals." Up $6 from last Monday's low. I don't see much chance of a prolonged rally anytime soon, but hopeful that the near-term price floor has moved up closer to $60 than $50.
  17. C'mon man. Heat records are going to get obliterated all over the state this week. The average high in Austin on 5/14 is 86. The record is 97. Current forecast is 105. It's not even fucking Summer yet.
  18. I didn't even watch the video and I've never seen or read anything he's written or said, but I already hate him.
  19. I honestly don't know how my co-workers living way far out in the burbs do it. I could see if you have a truly hybrid role where you can work remotely most days and only come in 1-2 days a week, but I know guys that are in the office M-F that live 45+ miles out. A good 8-10 hours per week spent commuting. That's an entire extra day of work, every week, just to get to and from work.
  20. Congratulations to Luthen Rael, first Pope elected from Coruscant.
  21. Schedule working out to where it looks like I'll be able to run up on Sunday morning and create 3-day weekend for myself. Appears likely this will be the last weekend until October where it went get much hotter than 80 and the overnight low will dip into the 50's. Gonna resituate and fill that feeder and start running it again so we'll have a hog-hunting spot this offseason. Also knock out a few other small projects that I'd prefer not to do when the heat index is touching triple digits.
  22. Enjoy this final upcoming weekend of Spring. 90+ degree temps look to be a daily occurrence starting Tuesday.
  23. 60 degrees and a nice light breeze at sunup on Sunday. Can't wait!
  24. I already had a bunch of candy cane shaped pieces of inch-thick rebar through the holes in the feet, which worked fine the last few years, but the ground just finally gave way under the leg on the lowest side. I could see on the camera it's been leaning a bit for a few weeks, so I'm assuming a strong wind hit or a big fat pig ran into it and finally tipped it. Been completely empty since early February, so doesn't have hardly any weight to it. Think I'm gonna move it over a couple yards to a now flat area and stick some 2" concrete pavers under the feet.
