  1. I can't even comprehend what Woodley was doing the remaining several minutes of the fight when he needed a KO to win. He showed no aggression what so ever passively milking out the remainder of the fight. I don't know if he was fearing unloading then being countered and knocked out himself or what, but he finished the fight like a bitch. Jake Paul is laughing all the way to the bank fighting under-sized former NBA players and washed up MMA fighters.
  2. I feel sorry for anyone who actually payed for this.
  3. The Big 12 is courting UCF who has been the best G5 program in recent history. However, they seem hesitant and for good reason they don't want to become another Boise or TCU jumping onto a sinking ship like the Big East before it imploded. If I'm the Big 12 I'm trying to add UCF, Cincy, Houston and a fourth to get the conference back to 12 teams and retain some form of respectability. The conference would remain strong in Basketball with the additions of Houston and Cincy and they both have decent football programs. The best course of action would be to oust that goof Bowlsby and turn the reigns over to Luck.
  4. Shows how desperate they are to escape the Taliban.

    TEXAS QB TALK

I trust Sark to make the right call at QB. He turned a heaping pile of shit Jake Locker into a first rounder and took a 3star QB and turned him into a Heisman finalist his first and only season starting. Casey should have the upper hand with his experience and showing in the Alamo Bowl, but anything can happen. With a new coaching staff most players tend to get a fair shake and there are no favorites, if Card wins out he deserved it.
  6. The Big 12 has been a sinking ship for some time. I expect Texas to dominate Basketball in the SEC under Beard and there will be a lot of good baseball games because the SEC is clearly a much better conference baseball wise. I hope Sark is the guy because goofs like Herman and Strong couldn't even consistently hang with the mid tier teams of the Big 12. Going 3-7 vs Okie St last decade and 3-7 vs TCU in the last 10 games played was embarrassing, not to mention Texas is on it's first losing streak to ISU, ever.
  7. Siakam isn't going to move the needle. The Spurs have a plethora of complimentary players, but they desperately need a superstar 1-2 punch. In the modern NBA if you don't have at least 2 superstars you're not going to be competitive and the results of the last two seasons clearly demonstrated that relying on LMA in the twilight of his career and the playoff choker DeRozan to be the guys. The Spurs are officially in rebuild mode and the moves this off season make that clear as day. They drafted an 18 year old SG over someone who could contribute immediately. Moving DeRozan for future picks/expiring contracts and cutting ties with vets like Rudy and Patty.
  8. I'm relieved the DeRozan era is over. I never blamed him for the failures of the Spurs in recent years, he never wanted to play for the Spurs to begin with. I blamed the morons that pulled the trigger on the trade acquiring a player who was a terrible fit.
  9. McDermott is a decent 3 point shooter, but that contract is excessive the Spurs overpaid for a shooter off the bench. Didn't Collins have 3 ankle surgeries the past year? Not liking these moves. The Spurs used to be known as geniuses for drafting productive players and bringing in the right mix of role players to support Timmy, Manu and Tony.....but damn those days are long gone. They've done about everything wrong they could possibly do in recent years including using their highest lotto pick in decades on a god damn 18 year old shooting guard. About the only thing they did right was draft a steal in Keldon Johnson.
  10. Isn't hilarious that a team with 3 NBA draft picks got bounced out of the first round by Abilene Christian?
  11. Laughable. There were 3 talented big available and the Spurs selected an 18 year old SG that won't sniff an NBA court for 2-3 years and would've been available in the 2nd round to boot.
  12. https://longhornswire.usatoday.com/lists/texas-longhorns-basketball-chris-beard-roster-2021-2022-season/ 7 players that can light up the stat sheet, that team is gonna be fun to watch. Picking up Morris was great news for the future as well. Allen - 17.2 ppg Disu - 15 ppg Andrew Jones - 14.6 ppg Ramey - 12.2 ppg Mitchell - 18.8 ppg Carr - 19.4 ppg Bishop - 11 ppg
  13. Askew is at least another year away from being a capable starter. It's imperative to land Carr seeing as how Andrew Jones isn't an ideal ball handler and Ramey wouldn't be the most appealing option at PG. There isn't a better available short term solution out there than Marcus Carr who would instantly elevate Texas to the top dog in the Big 12 and a national contender.
  14. Apparently the NIL killed aggy football.
  15. Jeff Fisher, Bum Phillips and Floyd Reese are being added into the Titans ring of honor. It's rumored that Jeff Fisher's speech will be 7-9 minutes long and his name will be placed on the 50/50 yard line.
  16. I enjoyed watching the Clips fail to meet expectations the last two seasons. Is bitch ass gonna demand the Clips unload Paul George? Or demand a trade somewhere like the Knicks or 76ers?
  17. Is it just me or is anyone else more excited about the upcoming Basketball season than Football? Beard had a couple of amazing seasons at Tech and had better overall results with less talent than Shaka. The roster for the 21-22 season is stacked, it'll be one of the funnest Texas teams to watch and one can argue Beard's first roster will be better than the 07-08 team that reached the Elite 8.
  18. Tennessee was cheating and they couldn't even be competitive. How sad is that? Phat McDonalds bags stuffed full of cash, hahahaha.
  19. Hell, they had a street agent in Texas. What was his name? Will Lyle?
  20. I hope the Titans wear their Oilers throwback uniforms when they play the Texans.
  21. So what's next for the bitch ass nephew? Is he going to malinger around and demand a trade to the Knicks? Probably should've stuck around with Toronto instead of opting to team up with a notorious playoff choker and play for a cursed franchise.
  22. After viewing the prediction for the opener I didn't bother to continue reading. There is a snowball's chance in hell that Texas drops the opener to Louisiana. 9-3 sounds about right to me.
  23. That's going to be a potent offense. Henry, Brown, Jones and Tannehill. I remember the days when you wouldn't want anything besides a Titans RB in fantasy football, how the times have changed in recent years. Interesting tidbit here as well : Last 24 starts: Tannehill: Passer rating: 110.9 Yards: 5,912 TD's: 61 Int's: 11 Completion %: 66.6 Mahomes: Passer rating: 105.2 Yards: 6,940 TD's: 57 Int's: 11 Completion %: 66.2 The aggy was a joke under that goof Gase, but something clicked when he became a Titan. Besides yardage the numbers are nearly identical.
