  1. This is correct.. based on what I saw last night.. From here on out I assume Texas will lose every game until they prove this to be false. What I saw last night was a lack of "imposing our will" on another team on both sides of the ball. I saw a ton of finesse and zero heart.. except Thompson, Overshown and Robinson. B. J. Foster, while his star rating says he has all the tools (?), continues to shy away from contact.. I especially liked him being carried into the end zone in the 3rd Q.. I do appreciate the interception but again.. he's soft I hate the one back set.. yes I'm that old guy. If our tight ends are not going to catch a pass then maybe they could block someone.. just a thought.
  2. Omg. He threw that ball about 100 mph 20 yards above the receivers head. It’s glorious. I may pass out.
  3. Well…. Everybody gets a ring …. Not necessarily a diploma.
  4. I’m going to need some texasag posts stat!! Let the tears flow over me.
  5. Buffs score!!! Come on Colorado.
  6. I hear underwear stealing could be lucrative.
  7. Come on Tulane!!!!! f those shitty land thieves.
  8. From the boy’s pregame meal, prior to the lights coming on… FIGHT!!!
  9. Meanwhile.... In Texas, go home commie carpet baggers.
  10. Yes. Commissioned upon graduation. Lt here. You can see rank on right collar. You can see his Citadel ring on right hand. 1st tour he was a LRP with the 9th Cav, sneak and peak behind the “lines”. Came home, went to flight school. Back in ‘71, shot down in Cambodian incursion . Sent home and made the Army a career.
  11. The old man. 1st tour of Vietnam (here with 1/9th Cav) Citadel graduate, class of 1965. Come on Bulldogs!
  12. Freshly cut grass from a 1a high school football stadium, the inside of a football helmet after august two a days, socks, stale beer and rum and cokes (151 Bacardi) that were spilled in the stands. It’s called Surly, Fall in Texas Oh… and despair. And just a hint of fat old lady boob sweat from a women in the piney woods ..Like from Jasper or Diboll.
  13. Good lord. They are so gay (like we meant when we were kids 40 years ago) and cringe inducing.
  14. Hey Beau! What no Dominic Savio vs. St. Michael’s? Catholics versus well.... other Catholics? The Papal Bowl.
  15. This right here. Want to see compliance. See Lake Travis or Westlake forfeit 2 plus games. That will get the ‘my freedoms’ crowd inline.
  16. From you to God’s ears. I don't expect much from the Horns so taking joy in the collapse of those hayseeds is all I got.
  17. This is correct. I would add Jonathan Quayle Higgins III as well as Chief Robert T. Ironside and Barnaby Jones.
  18. ….. not a single thing, in this whole world, worth a solitary dime, ‘cept old dogs, and children and watermelon wine…. Rest easy Tom
  19. It doesn’t. Was reading this right when Tony Jones was getting ready to beat Arky. I agree with you that this is not a gimme. No game is safe right now. The pig fans will be out for blood.
  20. Watching the 1987 Texas v pig game. Tony Jones says otherwise.
  21. Best high school running back I ever saw. His forward lean alone was worth 4 yards. He just kept coming at you. Nothing fancy. He destroyed San Antonio MacArthur in championship. Defeated MacArthur 54-0 Benson rushed for 238 yards and 5 touchdowns. He scored on runs of 4 yards, 58 yards, 1 yard and 49 yards. And, he scored on a 44-yard pass play. Punished Westlake in another championship. Defeated Austin Westlake 33-21 Benson rushed for 249 yards on a whopping 40 carries, and scored 5 TDs. He scored on runs of 47 yards, 4 yards, 4 yards, 13 yards, 10 yards. https://texashsfootball.com/a-legacy-remembered-cedric-benson-of-midland-lee/
  22. There’s a reason Afghanistan is called the graveyard of empires. Nobody ever learns. These people have zero interest in democracy or any other form of government not grounded in their medieval theocracy. What a waste. We should have bailed after Tora Bora. It’s not like nuking them into the Stone Age is any kind of threat. They live in the Stone Age. I am grateful to all on this board who went willingly in support of this country and the mission. I continue to go back to my fathers words after his second tour in Vietnam, “never again should we go to another country to fight and die for a populace that doesn’t want us there and for a government that can’t clearly articulate what is victory”… or something like that from what I remember.
