  1. CoA never, and I mean absolutely never, surprises me but I can’t see this passing by anything less than 56-57 points.
  2. That target area is nearly perfect for inflow into Travis.
  3. Just a reminder, when you see “normal” temps for Austin, it’s not a running average of every year like you may expect. NOAA does things a little differently and those temperatures and rainfall amounts are going to look different beginning next month. https://www.kut.org/energy-environment/2021-04-26/hotter-stormier-droughtier-what-to-look-for-as-meteorologists-update-normal-weather-for-austin
  4. I’ve got the sadz neither Dan Patrick nor Mike Rowe made the last group.

  6. Deej- aren’t you the one on the old boards who posted a pic of your grandparents house off Hancock prior to the Mopac construction years ago?
  7. You’re right. That’s exactly what I thought too. funny how docks don’t change appearance after 50+ years.
  8. Interesting. Wonder where on the lake it was taken?
  9. Was was the Kroger at Burnet and Anderson? First I’ve ever heard of this.
  10. As someone who is at Matt’s at least once a week for forever now, I gotta say, I’ve switched almost full-time to the skinny frozens. The thought of potentially saving 30-40 calories for each of the five margs I usually consume is a refreshing feeling. Sometimes I feel so good about myself I’ll go ahead and order a second Bob as a little pat the back for having such self-discipline.
  11. Same boat. I...err...my neighbor, wants to add a bathroom to his house. No changing of the home’s envelope, just replacing an existing oversized hallway closet with a bathroom taking it from a 4/2 to 4/3. Assuming he can successfully dodge the permit inspectors who routinely canvas the neighborhood and it’s accurately disclosed down the road when it’s time to sell, between the months it takes to get a simple permit and the threat of taking the top off your homestead and exposing yourself to thousands more per year in outrageous taxes, it seems like the city purposefully incentivizes you not to pull permits.
  12. lol this cat watched his first basketball game ever last night

Went to Dirty’s last week to get my dbl with cheese and chocolate milkshake fix. They’re still closed with no sign of reopening anytime soon. Really missing that place. Along those same lines, Billy’s still hasn’t reopened their indoors and, as of this past week, doesn’t have any plans to. I don’t get it?
  14. Did you ever find out who Adler’s plane belonged to?
  15. The historical Buford Tower is on fire right now due to a homeless camp fire gone wrong. So that’s cool
  16. How is Ward doing with his new gig? I miss his show but his one made it nearly impossible to easily listen live or listen to full eps after-the-fact so I bailed.
  17. Not a fan of Weingarten but didn’t someone on here about three months ago post ROT hasn’t paid rent since last March? If true, what do you expect?
  18. Behold, the great northern grackle migration.
  19. What in the world is going on here?
  20. Love me some Nikki.
  21. I’ve been in this town my entire life so very little surprises me when it comes to the usual Austin politics, but Adler and the council’s abject refusal to move off the homeless issue is the most surprising and frustrating aspect of local politics I can recall here. It’s getting worse by every.single.metric. And at an alarmingly fast pace too. Yet nary a word about it from any of the usual suspects. It’s sick.
  22. Is it too late for Indy and the NCAA to bump up the attendance for the games in two weeks? This very-little-croud-noise thing is going to make me sadz.
  23. Did not post yesterday because did not move yesterday. Yikes, that sucked. Went to bed feeling great but took two Tylenol PMs just in case. Awoke at 1am (approx the 12hr mark) and felt awful. Headache and body ache all over. Did not sleep the rest of the night. Someone above equated it to a car wreck and that’s absolutely right. Every joint and muscle in my body felt bruised and swollen. Even the thought of moving was painful. Started feeling better by lunch, moved around for about an hour then crashed hard the rest of the evening/night. Woke up just now feeling 90% better. I’m pumped the immune system was doing what it’s supposed to but that was not fun. @Deej how’s you do?
