  1. Re: IBRX, GERN, UUUU, AMYZF (which is finally starting to generate revenue), EOSE, & RVPH, I believe in their science until I see something to tell me otherwise. All these companies have great promise, but it doesn’t happen overnight and the market will go through its ups and downs until it’s clear they’ve arrived. I made large bets and am swinging for the fences. The swings in value you have to withstand can be hard to take, but unless you don’t think they can get it done, you’re in i6 for the duration.
  2. Most of them don’t have mugshots…..presumably.
  3. Billy Liucci is a paid liar.
  4. McCormick batting less than .200 with two runners in scoring position with two outs and we don’t PH. Madness.
  5. We better not screw this up.
  6. Steal home. I don’t know if we’re gonna get a run any other way.
  7. Kikuchi deserves some love. He’s given us three solid starts with an ERA of 2.70.
  8. It’s always been this way in aggyland. Over the years, reporters have been moved to other beats because they didn’t follow the party line. God help you if you asked a tough question.
  9. IBRX only started receiving revenue from the sales of Anktiva during the last 30 days of Q2. The next quarter should provide a better guide to revenue generation. I’d add that Anktiva is the new standard of care for treating bladder cancer. This drug is doubling the survival rate of advanced lung and pancreatic cancer patients. They have a principal owner who is a billionaire and willing to spend his money to see them get to market. I think what they have is a moneymaker and they’re going to expand to the EU by the end of the year. I made a very large bet on the stock, but I like my chances.
  10. It’s a low bar.
  11. Well, the most often used pick up line I heard at the Dixie Chicken that summer was, “Hey, you wanna match molars?”
  12. I know that now.
  13. Missionary work.
  14. Over a summer in the mid 70’s, I took 6 hours of electives at aggy….placing me squarely in the belly of the beast. This was a time when the powers that be at aggy were pushing female enrollment (aggy was 88% male in 1971 & 68% male in 1976). You’d think those idiots would be happy with more women on campus, but nooooooo. More women on campus would be a change and aggy >never< does well with change. Between classes, female students were accosted by male students yelling sexist slurs. “You whores shouldn’t be here. Take your fucking asses to t. u., You’re a bunch of cunts and nobody wants you here.” You name and they said it. And it happened every fucking day. It was living in an alternate reality. All I could think was, “ When I get back to Austin, they’re never gonna believe this shit.” Oh, yeah. A few of the girls were even more attractive than livestock.
  15. It’s been close to three months since I ended up in the ER. Have had no Lunesta since that time. For the first two weeks following the ER visit, I had nothing to drink. Then, I went back to the bottle. Alcohol has been a way for me to deal with chronic pain for decades….numbing me enough to sleep at night. Now, without access to sleeping pills and refusing to consider opioids, alcohol seemed my only option. Then, my doctor prescribed Duloxetine (a non-opioid) a week ago and I haven’t had a drink since. The Duloxetine helps mightily enabling me go to sleep and helping with the pain. Today was huge as my wife took a day trip out of town and I didn’t drink in her absence. So far, so good.
