  1. Which of my claims can’t be validated? Because other than I know people who work in recruiting, the rest of it can pretty much be validated by this entire board. also, feel free to validate your claims.
  2. Sorry. You don’t dislike endries, you just refuse to project him and therefore you can’t predict anything from the Te group. Is that more accurate? What did you predict at TE last year after Sanders left, a plague of locusts? Endries had good numbers at Cal and the coaches seem to think highly of him. This isn’t the same as Sark taking Bama transfers early and often in his tenure. Vernon brought played in 14 games and had seven solo tackles in 2023. He was routinely abused in the running game when he was on the field in 2023. Any idea that you have that he “flashed” is made up, and basically invalidates there entire argument. There’s a reason your massive second paragraph doesn’t mention him at all and relies heavily on the work of Collins. And I don’t consider him having 22 tackles as a heavily rotated backup to sweat and Murphy as crushing it, but atleast we can agree he did flash at times, like against K state. shaw had been underwhelming and injured his entire career, no doubt. But I’m betting in a contract year, finally being healthy, and a Kenny baker effect helping him. Which other than the injury thing, was the exact same thing we were praying about Collins last year as everyone was pissing their pants about replacing sweat and Murphy. Kanu I expect to be Lole or Norton, both guys who were great subs for us.
  3. Arch lost his s hook ID? I dunno I thought it was trying real hard to be clever.
  4. Where did you even remotely get that? Is this a joke? If he’s healthy he is at no more risk than any other football player on any given play. This isn’t re-aggravating an already tender ankle. Meanwhile you’re robbing him of valuable reps against live competition that would further his mental recovery and development. How are you even putting forth this position seriously? Should we just sit arch manning after Ohio State until conference play opens because we can’t risk it? Am I taking fucking crazy pills?
  5. "I'd prefer this weapon that wants to play, that doctors say is healthy to play, and that has looked great and taken tons of starter reps in practice sit until October because of arbitrary reasons I can't articulate." Why not just sit him until after the OU game, Mack? If his body responds fine after a few days following Ohio State, why the fuck would you sit him for another 3-4 weeks? What the fuck is wrong with you people, is this just typical football board idiocy?
  6. Nice deep cut. I was at that game. Irby was a tough motherfucker just for returning to Texas and seeing game time years later and having some good plays for us. There's just almost nothing I agree about in your post. In regards to Endries, ignoring the jinxing and superstition part, you don't like him because his first school was Cal? As if players aren't drafted from shit schools or even DII schools all the time? As if players don't get overlooked from recruiters in HS and turn into great players at the college level? Don't tell Aaron Rogers he's never going to be successful in the NFL because he went to Cal, bud. Or Tony Gonzalez. Or Marshawn Lynch. Or DeSean Jackson. I feel like you're just talking in bizarre circles regarding the DT situation. You think Collins and Broughton performed better because they were older, but they were ass literally the year before. If you want to make a case that an 18 year old isn't the same as a 22 year old, ok, but lets not fucking pretend that a 21 year old and a 22 year old are night and day, because they're not. And it completely negates your point of "Well they were developing the entire time in the background." Well, if that was true, why the fuck did they suck as 21 year olds and perform balls out as 22 year olds? Your stance makes zero sense. Your belief that they were "more talented" than the 3 senior transfers we got is based on...what? Sure, Collins was a 5 star. So was one of our transfers, Shaw. When older transfers come from other schools, they're just not that talented, but when they underperform at Texas under Bo Davis, they were just developing and waiting for the light to come on? That's horseshit. I'll tell you when the light came on, it's when Kenny Baker got here.
  7. I notice you can’t really respond to my points about systemic issues, athletic department involvement, their differences, but hey you have an inflation calculator and your boss’s story. Meanwhile, I have firsthand experience in trying to raise money from UT alums at the dawn of the NIL era to pay for the pancake factory, and an athletic department that tried to ignore NIL for a fucking year, and 15 years of Texas losing recruits to the SEC right around Saban showing up, and also know people who work in recruiting who know the dollar amounts kids like Jalen Waddle were getting who insist Texas wouldn’t play the bag game. I do know some Texas basketball boosters in the modern era would pay kids some amount, but not tons. But hey, your boss got to borrow a car whenever he wanted…with restrictions…totally the same as buying an Eric Dickerson a trans am, I guess. and to be clear, my stance isn’t some moral high round. I don’t need it to feel good about myself. I’ve been bitching for 15 years Texas wouldn’t play the game. I’m thrilled we are now that it’s legal, because for awhile that wasn’t certain either.
  8. Stars spend millions of years as red giants before going supernova. Humans haven’t even been around for 100k years. Why are you lying to people?
  9. This is as bad a take as I’ve seen in awhile. Did Mark Stanco steal your keyboard? is this a joke? Did you feel that way about Matthew Golden too? Mosely isn’t slow and put up great freshman numbers with dogshit qb and little other offensive options for defense to worry about.
  10. Yeah, but they said and I wrote playerS.
  11. Everyone literally acknowledged hundred dollar handshakes and shit line that in their posts. I certainly did in my post that you quoted. If you don’t see the difference between that and dropping 85k in cash for a player to sign, or hugh freeze texting players to go see his guy on staff for rent money, I just don’t know what to tell you. Do you simply think Darrell Royal threatened to turn guys in because we were all playing the same game?
  12. Massive “big 12 runs through Lubbock look at what we’re building” vibes. Fucking cringe man, I love it.
  13. lol. Name me the future nfl players in their secondary. I’ll wait.
  14. Your TE section fails to even mention Endries. Seems like a big gap in your analysis As for your DT section, you emphasize age a lot, but you fail to mention Baker as DT coach. Returns are early but Collins and Broughton borth did jack shit until Baker got here and developed them. There’s a non zero chance Baker is really good, and can get more out of our older transfers than you might expect, plus young player development better than expected. Broughton sucked until his literal last year, and collins was inconsistent, so it’s not like they weren’t old and strong enough their junior years. It was teaching. Baxter was a true Freshman, and he struggled early in the season. We all saw it. But he noticeably improved as the year went on, which is all you really want to see from a true freshman. You might be selling him short here. By the end of the season he was looking every bit the five star.
  15. Right. There’s a big difference between some boosters doing some small shit and an entire administration looking the other way when half your team is working at Big Red Motors, or the entire team is selling tickets for thousands and thousands of dollars every home game. The former isn’t “Texas.” ignorance is a nice way to put it.
  16. Texas pretty much has, you fucking idiot. Are you one of the stupid Aggie level idiots who needs the difference in our recruiting now versus 2010-2020 explained to you? Signed, Someone his actually spoken with people dealing with the UT’s compliance department in the NIL era.
  17. You know exactly on what site you're fucking posting. You're lucky I got to it before Hagberd Celine turned your joke into an actuarial table or codaxx came along and started muttering "Three minutes to Wapner" over and over.
  18. That looks like AI.
  19. Eh. Lets do this one instead.
  20. Well, since you didn't specify trial, I'm not sure what you're waiting for...statistically there's probably 3-4 women being raped on Baylor's campus right now.
  21. No I don't want a 71 year old Jim Harbaugh replacing a 59 year old Sark. I'd argue it's an involuntary reflex.
  22. I'm sure. But I was commenting on the title.
  23. Happened to be at Target getting shit for the work office. 8.59 for 5.5 oz at Target.
  24. Corndogs, Corruption, and Cameramen (dead) imo.
  25. There's a pretty interesting video interview with the CEO of Chili's you can find by googling. Basically discusses how he was able to turn Chili's around from being a punch line to having a huge resurgence at a time when most other restaurants are struggling. Seems like a pretty smart guy.
