  1. I would hardly say "every time." Plenty of autocrats live and survive just fine.
  2. Johnson doesn't need to form a consensus in his own party. He just needs to bring it to a vote. 95% of the democrats will support the bill, and anywhere form 20-40% of republicans will vote for the bill, and it will pass easily and things can move forward. That's how politics CAN work. It's how it used to work. Everything else you said is just complete and utter bullshit obfuscation. But by refusing to bring it to a vote, a small minority is able to completely obstruct the entire process and fuck over Ukraine entirely.
  3. In my experience, it doesn't even phase them, because they don't believe it. It doesn't even ring true in their hearts and they feel shame. They just dismiss you because they think you're unhinged and crazy. Propoganda wrapped in jingoism has worked.
  4. People have been begging on a vote for funding for Ukraine for literally months. This article was from two months ago. https://apnews.com/article/house-speaker-johnson-ukraine-aid-06889e166a5417d5b4bc7795813e37ef You can attempt to both sides this all you want, and this is as far as I'm going to go on what will be contrived as a political post, the fact remains that Urkaine needs aid, and there is exactly one roadblock to them getting it from the United States, and that roadblock has existed since 2023.
  5. Both links are dead. Can't find it now. Sad I literally just clicked the link that you quoted and said was dead and it worked fine, fwiw.
  6. While he yells "This can't be happening, Catholics outnumber protestants in Texas!"
  7. For the House of Representatives, who refuse to bring a vote on Ukraine funding to the floor, no, it is sadly not unusual. The Senate has already passed Ukraine funding, but they can't do shit without the house, who refuses to even vote on it becuase then it might pass. Yes, both bodies do stupid waste of time bullshit. But voting on a Judge isn't quite, I don't know, refusing to bring a popular vote to the floor becuase they want instead to vote on the freedom of refrigerator choice in America. GTFO.
  8. Offered without comment, becuase one isn't even necessary:
  9. That Alan Ritchson article is a good read. Took me half an hour. But a good read.
  10. How’s your unabashed optimism feeling now?
  11. Most people don’t consider “jacking off to the the doom march of fascsim” porn, dude. Not that anyone is kink shaming.
  12. Ed Young has been flouting that shit more and more since Covid. He’s always been a piece of shit though. Covered up and protected at least none sexual predator over the years. The second Baptist private school is literally a fucking handmaids tale factory.
  13. Nuance and innuendo don't compute in your brain very well do they. I imply it would take a miracle to get his kid drafted (if that was the main reason he left as reported by many) yet you throw me the kids entire history and say I'm the one saying dumb things? Ok chief, I'm sitting here in my office seriously trying not to bust out laughing, congrats. I think YOU may be the only person on the Internet that would translate anything I said at any point to mean "I think Bo can get his son drafted" You seem to have a hard-on for anything I post lately, nothing I can do about that but say "glad I could help you get your rocks off" lmfao
  14. 1.) No there is not 2.) Peekaboo sounds like Jigaboo.
  15. Only @texifornia can be the judge of any Hayes Fawcett works. Tex, what say you?
  16. Who the fuck eats half a donut? And then who the fuck eats half a donut, and then just leaves it out?
  17. A counterpoint to this is that all the people who bitch and moan about how they went to school and worked a job, back when school was affordable, could now just nod there heads that it's possible kids might be able to put themselves through school with a part time job. Nah, fuck 'dem kids!
  18. Now do the cost of living.
  19. Counterpoint, with the decay in intelligence and public education, maybe they won't be more effective?
  20. I said dead limbs, not gangrene, for a reason. Like withered and not functional, but still there.
  21. Yeah, I dont think those people die, I just think a chunk of them go back into the woodword and back to not showing up for elections. Their power reduces. It won't die. But it won't be driving 70 million people to the polls. And I think even the news organizations will regroup as well, Fox News, etc. But we'll see. Don't get me wrong, this country is still fucked. But more like, couple dead limbs that we can't amputate, not final stage prostate cancer.
