  1. I don't know all that much about them other than the references I see are generally neutral, if not positive. Who is telling you they have "no" credibility?
  2. If you don't understand how politics work I can't help you. Billionaires having considerable influence on politicians is nothing new.
  3. It's not wild at all. Is this your first experience with this? The Brookings institute did some studies a decade ago, long before Musk rose to real public fame/notoriety...and a few names of billionaires leading the way with political influence at the time included but were not limited to: Bill & Melinda Gates George Soros Michael Bloomberg Tom Steyer Mark Zuckerberg
  4. Someone CRing the thread? LOL. Sad! RIP, Woolery.
  5. Weagle weagle war damn eagle, kick em in the butt big blue, hey! Fuck A&M
  6. This stadium used to the boos.

  13. These guys have beaten each other to shit.
  14. I'm streaming from a PC with 1gb up/down and no problems at all. Haven't tried on an Apple TV or Firestick.
  15. It is the literal opposite of what got us into Iraq (2001) and Afghanistan (2001).
  16. Ironically this all really is gonna wind up being a consequential part of Trump’s economy.
  17. Putin and the party in power is 100% your enemy and wants to see you dead. The Russian people? Dude, they are great.
  18. Yes but not in mainstream media.
  19. That’s why I don’t get the blanket labeling. Not meant to be a comprehensive list but this is how I think of it: Bad for America/spend as much as we can afford: Hitler invading Europe Saddam invading Kuwait Brezhnev invading Afghanistan Putin invading Ukraine Iran/Hezbollah/etc…attacking Israel Don’t get involved/waste of American dollars: Saddam/Iraq 2001 Afghanistan 2001
  20. Highly debatable.
  21. You are absolutely correct on both counts. Am I not allowed to give an opinion?
  22. Better for both ours and the world’s future for us to be the biggest swinging dick than to sit idly by and wait for a line to be crossed that’s unrecoverable. How powerful do you want Russia or China to become? If you need evidence, look back on literally any empire in history that’s now non-existent.
  23. I tend to think we can reduce the waste in rampant government spending and that alone would be hundreds of times more valuable to the American people. Supporting disadvantaged countries against enemy aggressors is important to the well being of both our country and the planet long-term. Morally, it’s the right thing to do, too. I know they aren’t Americans but we’re all fucking people and most of those citizens don’t get chances, either. I’ll prob be negged for this, whatever.
  24. Macro…a drop in real estate prices would be bad. Micro, a drop would probably good if not great for those who prepared. Look back over the last 100+ years and hopefully you’ll see, you really shouldn’t want housing prices to drop…unless of course you are part of that (micro) minority that’s liquid and able to take advantage of a situation that’s bad for most Americans. We created a lot of millionaires and increased a lot of wealth post-2007. Rates should settle in 2025 but don’t expect a return to 3%. I admit I have no way of knowing how we incent first time homebuyers and people who deserve homes without creating situations where the wealthy can take advantage. But, I think wages and productivity should be more the focus here. One thing we do really need is for government to operate more efficiently. We’ve gotta get Congress out of this paycheck to paycheck lifestyle.
  25. I get it. Doesn’t make me stop trying even if it’s a fault. I’ll die a realist and take all my neg rep with me.
