  1. Whoa, whoa. No way Bells is bigger than Waimea, bro!
  2. I have always been a MUCH bigger fan of Band Aid’s “Do They Know It’s Christmas” as a song (at least one I will listen to at Christmas time) but I will concede (as I did to my wife as we watched this) that the slate of USA For Africa’s artists had much longer staying power/revere than Band Aid’s artists have. Having said that, watching this doc was the first time I have listened to “We Are The World” in…a decade? Plus?
  3. And just for reference since it was deleted
  4. I actually previously felt bad for the guy when he got the boot when McAfee and his big ass contract showed up. Previously…but not so much anymore. Also, update on his prior tweet:
  5. What about bitching about bitching about bitching?
  6. Here’s a look at the “Musers Live Room”
  7. Let’s class this thread up a bit
  8. “Funny or clever” is not really what we do here on Surly Horns
  9. And just like aggy, what are they gonna do with the plaque now?!?
  10. When “playing aggressive” goes wrong
  11. No nepotism but too much botox
  12. I LOVE how specific Seth McFarlane projects will get with references. Like this reference in ep4 to the cheap ass 80s - 90s Halloween costumes that had the character you were wearing…on the chest of the costume you were wearing
  13. ScreenCrush has done breakdowns of each episode with easter eggs and theories. If you are one that is enjoying this season and its (probable/possible) ties to season 1, you might enjoy.
  14. Just started watching the first episode and the experimental plane crash discussion had me rolling. I love how stupidly in the weeds Seth McFarlane will get on a topic.
  15. That’s because Aggies are nuhtin’ if not salt of the earth, bygum honest people
  16. I was just thinking about this movie earlier today: The Dirties - an excellent little indie movie (I think made for about $50K) that I saw at Fantastic Fest in Austin back in 2013. Its main theme is bullying of two movie-obsessed kids and ends up with a school shooting and yet it’s also very funny and has one of the best end credit scenes:
