  1. They could cut them off at the knees if they'd provide firearms to fetuses. Government just can't pay for them. and jorts for our Ohio friends.
  2. SIAP. If Biden holds AZ, NV, WI, & MI, as well as picks up PA and GA (somehow) - this total will look awfully familiar.
  3. shit! the asking price on the home I was looking at in Toronto just jumped 5%.
  4. Silver lining. That would eviscerate what little chance Pence has of ever being elected President.
  5. Imagine if she didn't have a phone to record that shit with. Her family would still be looking for her.
  6. You must be a cunt that resides in a right-wing echo chamber and only slithers out of his hole when the unsubstantiated and fictitious pabulum is memorized. You know, the other bagman.
  7. Voted on Friday and finished my poll worker training on Saturday. Coming soon to a polling location near you.
  8. Meh. As mentioned above. The people that find the statement so objectionable were not going to vote for Biden anyway. It may actually motivate more voters that were looking for a stronger message from Biden on fossil fuels.
  9. I don't recall. I've texted my college roommate, but it was quite a while ago.
  10. Best Mexican food I've had was at this little hole-in-the-wall located between Seattle, WA and Vancouver, Canada. Owners had moved up there from South Texas to be closer to their daughter at UW. We saw the sign advertising Mexican food, hit the brakes and turned around - went in just out of curiosity. Stopped on the way back too.
  11. I cannot fathom how Trump can come anywhere close to what he did in Wisconsin four-years ago. First, he's a known quantity now. "Drain the swamp" doesn't resonate quite as much when the person saying it is a known Swamp Thing. Second, COVID. Wisconsin is getting hammered right now. I heard a report today that they are out of intensive care and ER space altogether in cities like Green Bay. Third, white suburban housewives in Milwaukee are all in for Biden (or all in against Trump) and will be more inclined to just stay home if they can't stomach voting for either. My point is that I have more faith in Wisconsin than other states like Pennsylvania or Florida.
  12. Does the LSU basketball fan with the dark, curly hair count for this subject? Can't find the video, but she's my favorite.

  14. It should sound smooth. His sole mission was to run out the clock without being dragged into defending the indefensible. He said what he was prepared to say, regardless of whether it was on subject or not, and with no hesitation or misgivings about distorting the administration's record. Mike Pence has dedicated his very being to overturning Roe v. Wade. If he could be granted one wish it would be to eliminate abortion entirely; however, purportedly 70% of the country believes that abortion should be legal and available, in one form or another. He bit his lip and said what he was prepared to say. He didn't lie, but a heartfelt reply would have 1) put him on the wrong side of the majority opinion, and 2) on the defensive. When Pence is on the defensive, "smooth" goes by the wayside - as seen in his response to his handling of the pandemic.
  15. The distinction between this matter in Texas and the South Carolina decision on Monday is that the exception to the SC law re witness signatures being required on absentee ballots originated with a federal court order. In Texas the exception was initiated by the Governor, and the line-in-the-sand is that the judiciary cannot change the rules, not matter how idiotic they may be. But, I posted earlier, if the SCOTUS does take the case and for whatever reason rules against Abbott (e.g... power lies exclusively with the Texas legislature), it is unlikely they would toss out those ballots cast before the 19th - based on what they did with the existing absentee ballots in SC - but, if Thomas, Gorsuch, and Alito had their way, they would be tossed.
  16. Would get? It is already getting there. See the reversal of South Carolina yesterday, and Pennsylvania's high court ruling to facilitate voting is on the radar. I expect the challenge to Abbott's six-day extension for early voting to reach the SCOTUS as well. Three justices are ready and willing to toss ballots altogether (Thomas, Alito, and Gorsuch) and they just need Roberts and one-more to wreck shop. They don't need to eliminate millions of ballots, only a few thousand here and there.
