  1. I got that one too. Fuck 'em. I've done without for four months, I think I can survive.
  2. Fuck this shit. My company is looking to "retire" a bunch of people in the near future and although I'm probably not on the immediate chopping block I am close enough to retiring on my own terms that I don't have a lot of time to make up 401k losses. Even if everything goes just peachy keen this time, I refuse to be on edge whenever King Dipshit decides he wants to fuck with stuff just for the hell of it.
  3. Does that include Muskolini's companies?
  4. I thought Thursday was Ana's drunk posting day. You lose your job or something?
  5. I laughed. Can't believe you actually typed that out.
  6. Fuck Alan. I hope he and his dad get deported.
  7. Let’s begin the disclosure with how much government money his blood sucking companies have leeched from the US taxpayer.
  8. You greatly underestimate the efficiency of price gouging.
  9. But aren’t you like 75 years old? Shit could have changed since then.
  10. I knew an anesthesiologist named Dr Pillow.
  11. We speak American here, son.
  12. Gravity. It’s always gravity.
  13. This one kind of cracks me up.
  14. Crashed the market less than two weeks into the job. Impressive.
  15. I'm tired of these fucks bending the knee to a god damn Nazi.
  16. If Elmo promised it in an earnings call then you know it won’t happen on time.
  17. I've never been to a Bucee's and have no plans to ever go to one.
  18. OP could lay low for a few months and get a feel for how the atmosphere at the new gig compares to the old job. If it's much better, he could let his former co-workers know how awesome the new place is. Talk it up on a semi regular basis, show how much happier he is, that kind of thing. If new company needs some new dudes they could put a job listing on their website. OP tells his preferred former colleagues "Hey we got a job posted on our website that could be a good fit for you if you're interested." If they are looking to make a move, they apply. If not, they don't. Spread it out over time for multiple positions until you get your squad put together. A job was never blatantly offered and anyone in the business that saw the job posting could have applied. Old company can get fucked if they think it's "poaching".
  19. "Thus far" meaning (checks notes), nine days. Nothing to worry about.
