  1. I work a few-ish blocks from there when I'm in-office M-W, but haven't been in years. Would love to meet up for a happy hour, lunch, or whatever. I wonder if they still have the Mars Attacks pinball game up there. This really used to be my place. Anyway, hit me up for real, if you want:)
  2. And what fucking judge or judges signed off on the warrants as showing probable cause? The corruption runs deep.
  3. I harbored a suspicion about QE just based on SOUTHLAKE fuckin' CARROLL being what it is, and his look, and just tried not to think about it. But I don't know why Arch would be maga.. seems like his upbringing would have been less provincial
  4. Mrs. Shelton? She took care of me too! Smoked in bed and had her dentures on the bedside table.
  5. Was going to say original lineup Journey doing Don't Stop Believing. Then remembered Jonathan Cain(?) is a magat. Womp womp
  6. T minus 0 until the R's disparage and mock Gus Walz? And a certain segment puts out "We're not going black?" It's a matter of time.
  7. Man... Michigan seems like a super weird state to me as far as a Northern state. I admit I don't know all of its background but all the militia and regressive confederate shit alongside normal people...why?
  8. that sounds fucking great. Not everyone wants load of processed fatty, greasy "meat product" Although I do find the super-specific regional food smack talk a bit .. weird. Flyover country indeed.
  9. No, he definitely is super gay IMO. Which obv wouldn't be a problem if he weren't ... him. So I'm actually shocked and pleased at John Goodman taking a stand. He resisted doing so until now, as far as I know, I always presumed out of respect for the Roseanne universe/not wanting to alienate part of the TV audience.
  10. The fact that there is any more than about 10% support for the shit head and his goons to get another term just shows how shitty this country is.
  11. When I have sleep paralysis nightmares, THIS is the face I see hovering above me. Send your thoughts 'n prayers to Chuck.
  12. that's what they get for expanding enrollment to like 70k. Woke Collies.
  13. Roberts is a condescending elitist cunt and always has been.
  14. 1. Walz 2. Bashear 3. Kelly no one else
  15. Someone said earlier that Shapiro shut down legal pro-Palestinian protests, called the protestors racist, and compared them to KKK? Any hyperbole there? because that would be insanely problematic. Sorry for coming in late. I'm not hardcore pro-Palestine but ugh... would NOT want that baggage. Taking as someone who'll vote for the ticket no matter what.... just want to win.
  16. Serious question: as a cracker, can I use the term butter biscuit? I confess it makes me deeply uncomfortable 🤫
  17. I've already seen some swift-boating type shit being pulled out on Twitter, some guy who supposedly served with Walz saying he abandoned them yada yada... I'm sure it'll be hugely amplified and all over the place if Walz is the guy
  18. in this clip he reminds me of a more sane version of this
  19. It never seems to be mentioned that Trump already did the Schedule F thing in October 2020: https://trumpwhitehouse.archives.gov/presidential-actions/executive-order-creating-schedule-f-excepted-service/ obviously, Biden un-did it.
  20. Ugh. At least Gutierrez would have made it entertaining. I would never tire of hearing Ted called a son of a bitch
  21. I'm just curious how not a single one of the articles regarding Project 2025 ever mentions that Trump already implemented a big foundation of it, with his 2020 Schedule F executive order. Which Biden had to undo. Think maybe that'd help the public evaluate whether he's lying about his agenda and his unfamiliarity with Project 2025??
  22. "Weighing those two sets of interests" ... admittedly I haven't read the opinion. Can someone explain the legal underpinning of it based on the continual drumbeat of originalism? Because it seems to me if you're weighing interests to reach a conclusion instead of being textual like the purported [and disingenuous] Roe rationale ("is a right to abortion inherent in the Constitution), you're taking inferences based on policy concerns to reach a particular outcome, rather than looking to the plain language in the Constitution. Which seems extremely hypocritical and transparent. Why is the default immunity, vs. lack of immunity based on the literal text being applied?
  23. now this is the kind of porn the right can get into!
  24. Pos rep esp. for Sofi Tukker. Fucking love them.
