I think I've heard that was UTSA. I feel like it would be more widely known if he attended.

I'm at 100% return on it now. Finally a winner! I see the vision for the industry though and fine waiting a bit longer before taking some profits out.

Yep, especially since he had him in a crucifix in like 3 different rounds. How he didn't rain down elbows and strikes on him is beyond me. He throw a hundred little short baby punches to the corner of DDP's head, but he never seemed to try and put him away with actual aggression. Normally I'd have been bored of it, but I was actually entertained watching a defending champion just get absolutely manhandled and able to do nothing to stop it. 25 seconds each round and he was a ragdoll. It is a bit funny to hear DDP claim hell be back to get his belt back. But even if he improves significantly, what does that mean? He stuffs 3 takedowns and lasts an average of 50 seconds on his feet before spending the rest of the fight on his back next time? That would be a huge improvement.

It doesn't even have to be this fringe. It could literally be a undocumented Texas high school graduate who just had to cancel their enrollment for this fall semester because the Feds pulled the "State's Rights!!!" to govern themselves and classify students who graduated from Texas high schools (and lived here for a specified amount of time) as Texas residents for tuition purposes. Now I have to deal with students asking me how they can attend UT in the fall if their tuition just rose from $5,500/semester to $21,000/semester. Oh, and that $6k/year Texas grant you qualified for and were awarded? Sorry, you no longer qualify. No, you can't apply for a loan either, because you no longer qualify for the state-funded CAL loan. It would be better to spend your time in hiding since ICE is knocking on people's doors to fill their quotas. Stephen Miller said you were born to be a 2nd class citizen and shouldn't be getting government money. Oh, and also that fucking incel is making sure the rest of Project 2025 is being carried out in the meantime. So, yeah, don't look up. Unfortunately there's nothing I can tell them. If I want to give them the slightest sliver of hope, I can suggest paying in-district at a CC for a couple years and hope to have the opportunity to get a university education later IF the regime changes. But that would require me to believe that Trump isn't going to declare himself eligible for 3rd term with the fucking SC he paid for. And my head isn't far enough up my ass to not see where this is going. (2032? You really thing he's capable of saying "ok, enough is enough, Im rich enough, that's enough power, I've had my fill"? Fuck outta here). But anyway, that's my rant. I'm still at the stage where I can use sports as a way to stuff the reality of how fucked up these people are ALLLLLLLLLL the way to the back corner of my brain. I'll wash off the echoes of that fucking cunt Miller spout off insane racist propaganda on TV to further their nazi agenda by reading up on the latest practice report this evening. It doesn't mean I don't give a shit, it's just one of the few ways I can cope. My gf and the occasional drinking/smoking session will have to make do for the other times that I can't fit my head up my ass enough to forget.

Yep. It's easy for a fucking Kennedy to lecture about it. I'll bet he won't be as interested in the details.

Spurs 2025 Off Season Thread - Popping Off

"Logjam" seems more like an exaggeration to me each passing week. If Mitch and Wright are convinced it can work, then I'm going to let Mitch try to figure it out. Castle played 26 mpg last year. I think we can find Harper 24-26 mpg too. -

Texas Football 2025 - Kicking the Sonofabitch In
BurdineBandit replied to closetojumping's topic in Football
The shit that D1 athletes do to their fellow 17-year olds in high school is hilarious. I'll never forget Brian Orakpo in the Astrodome reaching over a fully-engaged offensive tackle, likes he's committing an Over the Back rebounding foul in basketball, to yank a quarterback's shoulders pads so hard he goes horizontal a foot off the ground and falls on the tackle's legs. Just a heap of destruction in front of him for a sack. -
Anyone who bought tickets expecting Messi to show his face at this exhibition game was playing themselves. He ain't here to play school. He's here because they rolled out the red carpet, gave him a stake in the team, and allowed his family to live in Latino America without having to live in Latino America. At the ripe age of 38. This game ain't on the Top 50 list of biggest accolades in his career.

I can check my receipts as far back as January 2024 and I paid 2.49 for unleaded then. After 18 months I'm pretty sure it's not much cheaper than that anywhere I've seen in Austin over the past month. He can tell stories about some unnamed stations in unnamed states as much as he wants.

JFC the media giving cover by invoking Hamas, and then listing all the reasons it's horseshit. Israel now controls 70% of Gaza and is closing in on 100% all in search of Hamas. And when they don't "find" Hamas, the destruction of a people and conquering of an area is just an accidental win. What a stupid, empty report.

Just finished the last two episodes tonight and I liked the season. Felt the acting was great from multiple characters. Wish I knew more about some and less about others, but there's only so much they can do with 10 ~30 minute episodes. I also didn't love the wedding episode and am surprised so many did. The whole thing felt a bit forced to me. But the season overall was really good.

What new UT gear are you looking to buy this year?
BurdineBandit replied to GhostOfTomJoad's topic in Football
Great description. I like the designs in general, but something about them is just a tad bit off. I have liked some of the UT gear they've come up with, but I'll likely just wind up with another nike polo this year. They fit well and look great in jeans or shorts. -
Hated the game plan from Berlanga. He had concepts of a plan (get inside the reach) but seemed to be clueless what to do once there. Not sure I saw him throw a single body shot. You'd think he'd try to break down Sheeraz and get him to start to fold over, but he just went headhunting and didn't have the firepower Sheeraz brought to the hunt.
