Went with my aggy buddy (good dude despite it all) and rode home with him and his nephew (an aggy senior who sat in southeast corner). They conceded they got beat and went on to complain about how our game environment sucked and the sound system is shit and Kyle Field is so much better and I need to see it to believe it.
I just asked - “Did it look like our crowd had fun? Then who gives a shit if it’s Blaupunkt or Sony? You guys keep worrying about game day atmosphere and we will keep beating you. And also, your QB is a poor man’s Reggie McNeal.” His nephew went “Who?” I said “Exactly.”
Not sure if folks outside of the stadium were aware but they trolled the Aggies with this a few times including a big graphic that said “Mo Bamba Went Here” and then playing it after Wisner’s last run (plus the Elko “this is the flagship school in the state” troll).
We are beating the best team in the east on their floor with two of our best 7 out. Yeah they don’t have Garland but whatevs. Amen having a tough night and we still roll. This team fucks. Show me a loss.
I am down to just keep the same team on the floor, but one trade that sounded intriguing was Coby White given it's unclear where he fits on the Bulls when he comes back. Maybe not a good enough defender, but relatively cheap on an expiring if he doesn't work out.
Durant + baby Jokic + baby Pippen. We are winning it all. We just don’t know it yet. Go trade for McCollum or something g to steady things and take it all.
Wrapping the season 4 rewatch and was curious what happened to the dude that played Landsman. He surely died choking on a Coney Island or something. Dude was huge. Looking like he found the Ozempic
Separately - Season 4 is the best season but the least rewatchable. It’s such a downer
We are going to mudhole them. That Mizzou game + us being back home + our D wanting to reassert itself + Baxter one more game in has me feeling good.
33-13
I have a ton of stock in Bijan but today was not great. Gibbs, Barkley, and Taylor aren’t having games like this against shitty teams. You can blame Cousins and the O-Line but if he wants to be transcendent, which I still think he is, he’s gotta figure out a way in games like this. His team still may not win and his stats may be down. But he wasn’t on his best either today.
This was the most hilarious game I’ve ever seen. I was at a party that started at 5:30 and we’d all written it off. It was so much fun after that. Really a ton of fun. We know we aren’t winning the Natty this year but damned if we don’t fail upward into something we aren’t expecting post- Kentucky. Then Caldwell with the bucket to remind us of what we could have.
hook em.
This. If you have kids that age it was a dead on impression of how 12 yo boys talk to each other outside the (likely intentional) exclusion of “six-seveennn”.
I said it upthread but Sark is scheming open receivers like every other good OC. Guys are open. Arch doesn’t see them then has no time to move to the next read. But he shouldn’t have to. Receivers are open over and over in immediate windows Arch keeps missing it.
Sark didn’t just now forget how to call offense. He could be doing better and doesn’t get a pass. But this is too fast for Arch.
Because Arch misses or won’t throw to any of the immediate reads that Sark schemes for him. Then he’s running for his life. It’s a team effort of futility.
