  1. No shit. Orlando is looking pretty good if Paolo can take another leap and Suggs comes back.
  2. Honestly, I hope he figures it out and makes a few All Star teams. He’s still super young and dropped 38 in the playoffs. This is a no brainer deal for the Rockets and even if KD can’t bring us to the finals and Jalen is a future all-NBA player, you do this 10 out of 10 times. If I were the Suns I don’t trade with the Rockets without getting that ‘27 pick back on principal even if I have to take the shitty Miami or SA deals. And yet, here we are. Awesome.
  3. Jabari is the more interesting one. He won’t get a great deal if he signs early like Jalen and Alpy but I am sure we will try to lock him down. If I am his agent I tell him to bet on himself and make the Rockets pay him much more by extending next summer.
  4. I imagine that Green and 10 for Durant trade includes an unnamed vet contract like Londale.
  5. Is Seb Berhalter good? I was at the Austin FC Vancouver game and he seemed like just above MLS JAG in that game. Then I see he’s playing on same field for national team. Color me surprised. Credit to him for serving up the goal, though.
  6. Is this a bit?
  7. Bad collagen imo
  8. If we could snag one of Trey Murphy and Derek White along with Cam Johnson I’d be gruntled.
  9. I saw Hamilton on West End two years ago. Great seats, not that expensive. And a bit of a different take. Would recommend if you aren’t chasing seeing someone famous in something which is also worth doing. AI says: e: Cate Blanchett in "The Seagull," Tom Hiddleston and Hayley Atwell in "Much Ado About Nothing," Jonathan Bailey in "Richard II," and Brian Cox in "The Score". Additionally, Rami Malek and Indira Varma are in "Oedipus", and Vanessa Williams is in "The Devil Wears Prada".
  10. Yeah. Agree. Front rows of an upper deck can be a good experience. And if anyone in the group likes Coldplay he puts on a good show. I’m not a huge fan but saw them at Toyota Center 20 years ago or so and had a good time. Plus, Wembley. Stadium concerts at classic stadiums are cool. $400 seems almost reasonable these days. edited - 20 not 29. I’m not that old
  11. Work event at Moody Amphitheater for Peach Pit tonight. Never heard of them because I’m an old. Any good?
  12. What if it was a 4 start general doing the same thing? They would have to stand down. It's equivalent. But stay obtuse.
  13. If guess the fact that you think he was acting like a child, given what his role is and what she said, is part of the problem. Your fascism is showing.

Desler is super important to this team. That is all.
  15. Mountainhead got panned on the Tv/Movie thread but I am telling you, it is both holding up a mirror and prescient.
  16. Elmo has his own horde. And they are better at computers and stuff than the 25th Rascal Batallion. This is gonna be fun.
  17. Hmmmm...... I enjoyed it? I knew going in that they filmed it over 10 days in February, so it was what I expected. And I am not sure it's that far off of how Thiel, Musk, Reid Hoffman, and David Sacks (clearly the models for each) talk to each other in real life.
  18. Was Maeve suggesting that she and Eddie should be a couple? The "But your my Nan!" or whatever was weird. How much I ultimately liked this episode has everything to do with how next season picks up. Because I am not so sure right now. Seems like Philomena is taking the call Harry won't with Kat, so I imagine that will be a huge source of friction next season.
  19. Kentucky has a kid named Kyuss Gargett
  20. Going to Metallica/Pantera/Suicidal Tendencies with my 13 yo nephew tonight in DC at Commanders stadium. Was his bday present because his dad is a deadbeat. I am 49 and figure I’ll be at about the average age.
  21. Exactly. Wemby’s floor is a better version of Ralph Sampson or Bill Walton’s NBA career depending on how long he lasts. Wemby’s ceiling is above LeBron, imo. Tall dudes (>7’ 0”) have an inherent risk of breaking down.
  22. I think he probably has the highest floor since LeBron, FWIW, or maybe AD. I put him ahead of Wemby because Oden/Embiid/Sampson. The Kirilenko comparisons aren’t wrong but if he is a better version of AK47 he’s a perennial all star. I see him as 24-8-6 for a career that also has him as a 1st/2nd team perennial all defense player. He has a frame that can get pretty big. Dude’s shoulders are broad.
