  1. Holy shit. How did Tech lose? It was a blowout with like 4 minutes left
  2. Florida went over 6 minutes without a FG. Tech was clanking 5 foot shots left and right. It was terrible basketball
  3. I’m a known Florida gator fan on here, I’ve liked them since I was a kid because alligators are my favorite animal. I don’t give much of a shit about basketball though. Tech looks like the superior team. But that dunk seems to have rejuiced the gators
  4. These teams look fucking terrible.
  5. His former teammates knew his stuff, and subconsciously probably wanted revenge too. He single-handedley lost them the WS last year.
  6. Yankees as a team have hit 9 homers today, one shy of the record 10 in a game by the Blue Jays in 1987. The 1999 Reds are the only other team to hit at least 9 in a game.
  7. Judge 4-6, 3 homers and 8 RBIs today. Yankees up 20-7 on Milwaukee
  8. Not guarding the inbounder is always so stupid and ineffective. That was an extreme example though
  9. Lol. That was one of the more egregious push offs I’ve ever seen. Full arm extension, palm contact, it had it all.
  10. Michigan fully melted down
  11. It’s more an indictment on society than me that I went through high school, college, and well into adulthood and never was told what log scale meant, or how it’s applied. Until today. I imagine unless you are in the STEM world you would never find out without seeking it.
  12. Never been to New England outside of Boston. I want to go now after reading all of that.
  13. If you’re running home to first and you’re inside the line (fair territory), if you get hit with the ball you are out. It’s why you are taught to run in the foul side. The rest of your post does shed good light. I still think it’s unnecessary but oh well. It’s likely here to stay.
  14. Spent the past few minutes reading about it. You guys are correct. I had no idea the Richter scale was that un-intuitive.
  15. In what would is 8.0 3x larger than 7.7?
  16. I don’t think you know math good. Might want to re-check your work.
  17. Yeah, that’s confusing and arbitrary as fuck. How do you define where a throw takes the first baseman? Who has the right to which bag on a dropped third strike? If I’m a first baseman I would just take to the outside bag immediately, forcing the runner to use the white bag, which forces him to run in fair territory. Catcher is free to just bean him in the back at that point, and he’s automatically out.
  18. If I ever need something built I’m hiring an engineer from Myanmar/Thailand. 8.0 quake and literally the only damage was a building still under construction. That’s insane.
  19. Incorrect Correct
  20. Wells also becomes the first catcher to hit a lead off homer on opening day in MLB history. Crazy
  21. Alexander Herrera congrats on jumping to #1 on Helo’s recruiting board. 2028 kid to look out for is that Jai’Storm Knight from Judson. Cool name, and he was on the varsity last year as a 6’8 320 lb freshman. He and Kaiden Scott from Roosevelt are putting northeast San Antonio back on the football map.
  22. More like Whale Jr.
  23. The only good point jomboy brought up is that both bases should be the same color, and be extensions of each other. There’s zero reason for different rules for each base.
  24. Jomboy goes full on woke in defending the two-bag system here, but video still highlights why true baseball fans don’t like it. Completely ridiculous the runner is out here.
