  1. Just need to be free for my husband and kids and my friends. I love to work, I’m not lazy at all, but need to be able to get away to park city with a days notice if the opportunity arises. Or Chicago. Or Nola for the final four. That was annoying to my non profit last year when I ditched everything and flew to Indy for the natty.
  2. Lol no. Happily married. A workaholic that doesn’t need to work.
  3. Also I’m hesitant to brag about all those CFO and COO duties when I’m just self-taught? I have very little formal accounting training. My bachelors is in a completely unrelated field.
  4. Yes I do—it’s a pretty much a requisite to getting meetings with donors. I set up some career alerts yesterday. I may need to just start another company. Working for someone else may not be lucrative enough to make it worth my while with the flexibility I need. Other orgs like mine are often asking me for consulting, but all of my clients up to this point don’t have much money to pay.
  5. Yes I am paid, and I love it—just time for a change. It’s my baby, and I’m going to have a hard time getting out without something substantial and new on my plate.
  6. That’s a thought. I have had some freelance stuff published. You have to really harass those guys to get consistent work though.
  7. Any tips? I got married right out of school and have a bachelors degree, but I’ve mostly been a homemaker with some consulting jobs here and there. I started a non-profit twelve years that is doing great ($2mm/yr), and I do most of the cfo and coo duties, but I don’t know if that necessarily translates to other fields. I’m smart, I love to learn, I’m techy (for my age), and I’m good at sales. Most of my friends in my situation are getting part time jobs at their kids’ school or a boutique, but that has subzero appeal to me. But I don’t really know who’s gonna hire me for a professional position either. Basically I think I’m more qualified than I actually am. And I’m in a small city.
  8. For real. They don’t call carries anymore ever and it shows.
  9. Feels like Allen travels incessantly and gets away with it.
  10. Unless your kids are homeschooled there is zero chance a nine year old does not know the f word.
  11. Okay here we go bears. Step on their throats. Was that legit on flo? Looked super weak
  12. It was swag surfing. Frat daddies next to me confirmed
  13. maybe I have the title wrong. It’s the song that every high school around does it to
  14. Ferrell center is rocking!!! Record attendance tonight including terry black, MVP of my favorite college memory—beating Kansas on big Monday in 2001. Ps I love Kendall brown.
  15. Wow. This is the Adam Flagler show. We have nothing else.
  16. Didn’t get a pic but this was super tasty—will be a good weeknight meal. I added leftover sautéed mushrooms and crumbled some bacon from burgers last night which made it a touch too salty to also add some parmigiana at the end like I had intended. Next I will switch to low sodium broth and add some parm. https://joythebaker.com/2022/02/one-pot-marry-me-chicken/
  17. Have coaching staffs always matched head to toe like this? I really hate the prison garb look Baylor coaches are rocking tonight. Also really hate our start to the second half.
  18. This absolutely sucks for McCullar, but I watched the tape, and Dixon was not on the court at the time of the collision. McCullar stepped back close to the bench when transitioning to defense. Hugely unfortunate.
