  1. I quite smoking a few years ago. about 9 out of 10 times the smell of cigarettes makes me want to vomit. But that one other time it'll make my mouth water, it smells so good. Also, pipe tobacco. love that smell
  2. My wife can mow, but I would rather her work on her sandwich making skills. Which are sorely lacking.....
  3. Yeah, our plan is to stay in the house until the kids are grown (about 15 years) then, use the house money to buy some land far away from any city possibly in Arkansas or Oklahoma where it is alot cheaper.

  9. You're not wrong. We had been planning on trading it in last summer. But with the vehicle shortages and stuff decided to hold off and get something we really wanted. On a side note - I got it inspected last Saturday (with an oil change) and Registered Monday night... SO double FML
  10. Lol - but no. Kids stayed with the grandparents and I waited to post until about an hour after we got home.
  11. We went to the ER. Her mom is actually an ER Doc and had called ahead to the head of ER before we even got there. Everything came up okay. I'm still fucking pissed though
  12. I don't know that that would have been better. She (used to) drive a honda fit. If it was one of those cheap aluminum ladders, maybe. but if it was a heavy duty ladder, I think it would have been alot worse.
  13. Bruised up pretty badly but okay. If you've ever driven in that area at 9:00 am, it's amazing she wasn't hit/didn't hit another vehichle.
  14. After she complained that she could barely use her hands, I asked if her mouth was still okay. /tone
  15. Wife was going 70 on Bush and had to swerve to miss a ladder on the highway. Spun out of control and slammed into the wall. Walked away with a couple of broken bows and a cucussion Fortunately. All because some fuckstick couldn't be bothered to make sure his shit was tied down properly Wife had also just dropped off the baby maybe five minutes earlier. That last pic is how I pulled up.... 20. Right there with you. I love to cook and I'm decent (despite my posts in this thread). One thing I asked for on our wedding registry (I was 40 for context) was a decent set of knives. I think they were like $120 on Macy register. One of my groomsman who easily could be a professional chef called me and told me to take that crap off my list and bought me a set that was like $500. Also, two of my favorite skillets came from some a thrift store like good will. One is perfect for omelets that i use about once a week and the other was a Sur La Table (about $120) that needed about an hour of scrubbing with some bartenders friend.
