  1. Whee are you seeing that? I would take the moneyline on it
  2. I can not for the life of my make good cream gravy. I've probably tried a 100 times and still can't get it right.
  3. That's all fun and games until @Vic Mackey's former conquests start making an appearance.
  4. We should be 28-25. which would put us in the 3rd wild card spot.... Also, Perez now leads mlb in WAR for a pitcher. And tied for 1st in the AL for overall WAR. I did not see that coming....
  5. Damn. I wish I thought of the pimento cheese. That sounds excellent
  6. I have an 8 year old boy. My ex (his mom) only eats like super healthy organic food. So when's with me (we have joint custody, so 3 or 4 nights a week) he always wants junk food. I've been trying my best to take those foods and teach him how to a)cook and b) make them a little heathier or at least not just fast food. For instance, a few months ago he wanted chicken nuggets from McDonalds. Instead I showed him how to make fried chicken tenders. Fun times. Yesterday we went to the store and he grabbed a pre-slices pack of bologna. Me " You want a bologna sandwich, I show you a fucking bologna sandwich. Put that shit back."

  8. Why can't they just cut all the way through the bagels...No matter what kind I get, they are only like 90% cut...
  9. Pretty much. I rotate through about 4 or 5. Plus my Father in Law will buy some for me if he sees something unique. The older I get, the less my stomach can handle really spicy hot sauces, but Franks has pretty good flavor without the heartburn. for me anyways.

  11. Maybe they got tired of those Seattle Team Fuckers
  12. I'm with you. I had to work from home for like 3 months when we were remodeling our store it was fun for about 2 days.....
  13. It's actually even more genius than that. You tell someone they have to start commuting, chances are they will just quite. Saves a ton of hassle trying to fire someone. It's a pretty big company, so there is alot of red tape my wife has to go through to actually fire someone.
  14. At my wife's company. They are going to institute a policy that if you don't meet quota for a certain time period, you'll have to start working at the office.
  15. I should add, she now has employees living about 80 miles from where their office would be. She wouldn't be able to hire those people before because of the commute. And guess what, traffic or car trouble are no longer an excuse to miss work. Also, she has one worker whose mom is getting cancer treatment in Houston (we're in Dallas). Instead of having to take a week off (and use her vacation days and such) she's able to work from her hotel room and still take care of her mom.
  16. This. My wife works from home and is a supervisor for about 20 employees in the insurance field. Almost all of her employees are female. All work from home. She mentioned to me a few months ago, that since women are usually the ones who pick up/drop off kids for school, what was once a nightmare to work around became a 10 minute deal. If they have to pick up a sick kid, it's 15 minutes away from work instead of the afternoon. Same with Dr. appointments.
  17. The place I dropped it off at was only about a mile from our house. It was faster to walk anyway
  18. Even if they do get around sanctions. The chips will be twice as expensive and probably take 4 times longer to arrive in Russia
  19. Not like cancer or a child dying or something serious. Just a bunch of little things right in a row. In the last two weeks: My wife totaled her car (that wasn't trivial, but it seemed to be the starting point) 2 Days later, she rear-ended a truck. Minor damage, just a radiator and new bumpers. 2 days after getting it back, one of the hose clamps to the radiator broke. So I spent an hour driving like a quarter mile at a time taking back to the shop. Then walked home in like 90 degree heat while carrying my 3 year old on my shoulder Got home and preheated the oven. When I went to open it, the fucking glass on the door fell off. I'm not even sure how that happens. Not more than an hour later, the toilet got clogged. I mean Jesus. It was also Sunday, so I couldn't even get liquor. Wound up walking to Walgreens and buying a box of wine.
  20. Yeah, we're about the same age. Our family went to the Farmers Market on a regular basis when we were young. Took my family around 2 or 3 months ago, and it's just Dallas douchebag Central now. The only redeeming quality was that you could carry a beer around. I used to live at 190 & Josey, if you like walking/jogging - check out Grapevine Lake. That was may go to back then. Be sure to check here - some of the parks have fee's, some don't, but the trails connect to all of them. https://lake-grapevine.com/katies-woods-park/ It's been awhile, but I used to run from here, to the restaurant and have a beer. then walk back.
  21. Let me help you. They named alot of people who were alive between 1750 and 1800. If you could go back in time and as any of them if they were okay with Blacks, Slaves, or Indians owning guns. Would the answer be yes or no? If yes, they would be okay with them owning guns, you are absolutely lying to yourself. If no, then you understand that even they believed in gun regulation.
