  1. Here it is What's Changing? Audio Subscription Plans are becoming Non-Refundable, and we are updating when changes you make to your Audio plan will take effect. Non-Monthly Subscriptions (quarterly, semi-annual, annual renewals) • If you cancel or change your subscription within 30 days of your initial purchase or renewal charge, your subscription is eligible for a pro-rata refund if requested. • Cancellations or changes after such 30-day period will take effect at the end of your paid subscription term and are not eligible for a refund. • If you decide to upgrade your service after such 30-day period, we will change your plan upon request and apply a credit toward your future renewal charges. No refunds will be given for any non-refundable plan. Monthly Subscriptions (month-to-month renewals) • Monthly subscriptions will be non-refundable, unless they are cancelled within the first 7 days of your initial purchase. • If you cancel a monthly subscription after such 7-day period, your subscription will continue through the end of your already paid subscription term. • Any changes to your subscription will occur at the end of your already paid term, except if you decide to upgrade your service for additional programming, which change will take effect immediately.
  2. They announced a week or so ago that they’ll no longer credit back unused subs if you call mid cycle to cancel. Make sure you don’t miss your renewal dates! In fact, I’m thinking my next renewal I’ll just immediately cancel. It will stay on til that date and then auto terminate to force me to call in and ask for the new deal

  4. Ran across one today where I had to navigate through adds above, to the right, and in the middle of her pages long dissertation about how these burgers changed her grandmothers life or some shit only to get to the recipe section AND THE BITCH REQUIRED ME TO REGISTER TO HER NEWSLETTER TO SEE IT. Fucking bullshit
  5. UTG old man opens to 12k. I call w JJ. BB calls w deep stack. 40k pot 366 rainbow. Checks to me and I go 30k. BB min raises to 60k. I tank call and he has 62hh. Oops, game over. Out 71st
  6. 162k to 3/5/5k
  7. BTN (150k) opens to 10k. I jam ATo in BB and he snaps with K3s? Flop A and turn another, full double up
  8. Drawing big blind is an auspicious start
  9. 729 entries. 75 returning, all in the money. Avg stack 243k. Chip leader 614k. 2/4/4k blinds to start the day I’m 68th with 93k, so just need 1-2 hands early to get comfortably in the mix $52k up top … LFG
  10. Bagged a 20 BB stack in the 2nd flight (of 6) in our $400 $100k guaranteed tourney. Return Sunday in the money
  11. So there is a game now that is ONLY bomb pots!?! Super degen We only got bomb pots on our non-time games in the last year and it’s blown up with 2-3 players per table pushing hard on the others to play them. I scooped one the other night with 9865 rainbow that hit nut straights on the river both boards, somehow dodging 3 flush and 2 boat draws against 4 other all-in players. That $500-600 pot may have got me 1/3rd out of being bomb pot stuck
  12. 2024 thread here
  13. Chip stack pics or it didn’t happen
  14. That was, uh, suspect
  15. Texas by 70?
  16. It’s starting to be tested here in FL. I’d guess there is A LOT of behind the scenes pressure to figure out a graceful exit from some of the policies enacted the last year
  17. I’m not sure it mattered, but I was several margaritas in, had A943 when the flop came AAA, and my holdem training had me jam while telling everyone to GTFO. I *should* have checked it through the river to let someone hang themself, as in PLO only the flop matters. In holdem, I could have been screwed by a higher kicker hitting the turn or river
  18. Relatedly, Kirkland balls are $27 for two dozen at my Costco. Stocked up
  19. At this point the angry Trump voters can’t vote any harder. We’ve already been told that he’s been boosted by inflation, the border surge, the Fox verdict, the FBI raid, the first indictment, the second, the third, the fourth, the Carol verdict, the Rudy verdict… but now suddenly we think THIS is going to move the needle more? Fuck that noise
  20. On my 49th birthday, I just hit AAAA9 for $1900
  21. Best/fastest dealer in room says he gets most hands per hour at limit holdem. Since those players are pretty much only playing because of the high hand promotion, they go very fast even though they get to river nearly every hand
  22. Has anyone come across discussions about odds for winning high hand promotions? I’m trying to determine what the order of likelihood is for a given table to win: Limit Holdem: almost every hand gets to the river, which is good because you’ll see all 5 cards, but bad because every hand takes longer to play so you see fewer per hour No Limit: fewer hands get past flop, much less to the river. More hands per hour than limit, though PLO: must flop a winner, so only 3 community cards to work with rather than five, BUT you effectively have 6 shots per hand dealt because of the 6 combos in your hand. Probably same number of hands as limit holdem
  23. It’s all relative. As long as competition is playing the same ball I don’t really care. Adjust the tee box and we’re all good imo
