  1. Curious, if you donate $.01 via credit card, do they take a minimum transaction fee? Giving them money forces them to fill out the donation register, thus the penny would be a thorn for them.
  2. So, wife and I are looking to do a trip to SPI in mid June. Looking at fishing charters (not wanting to go the 6-pack, private charger route, but rather a cheaper, bait and tackle included would be better). Are there any recommendations? Or outfits to avoid?
  3. See: Aggy's national championship stall tactics. Most impressive of them all.
  4. https://x.com/Fantavious9/status/1906501012329767128 This heated exchange looks like fun! EDIT: since surlyx doesn't play well here...
  5. It's like they have the story written, and just replace the number of victims and timestamp, then publish. Wash, rinse, repeat.
  6. Man, is anyone still running the Burnet Road Challenge?
  7. Maybe the crew row boat is just used to Nicole's BS by now...
  8. Wish they would have taken this approach for the ProjectConnect. I mean, really, they should pit the two against eachother. Would you rather bury the powerlines, mitigating the ice risk, but raising the risk of some dumbass hitting the power boxes on the side of the road while drunk, or Option B, would you rather build a subway to nowhere?
  9. Winds shifted. Closed incident ticket.
  10. My thoughts on txAgs in general...
  11. Just don't key it unless you want to get fired and labeled a left-wing extremist.
  12. She won the battle against anorexia, though, so she's winning there!
  13. https://x.com/T4Rlady She seems like the 20 year old Toyota type...
  14. Following his success, he was the founding member and CEO of Taco Corp. He also created the EBDB, binding most aggy together through a single herd of sheep.
  15. Moved out of the 'ville a while ago...
  16. Everyone loves a good story with a happy ending!
  17. Target in Bee Cave would be a prime example. Or walk around the Hill Country Galleria.
  18. Wife parking is no joke. I always park next to a curb if ever possible. Even my kids say it (your half as likely to get door dinged if you park next to a curb!). She drives, it's time to nose that bitch in and park between two shitty ass late models who've never seen a car wash. Granted, in our area, the worst cars to park next to are Lexus' and large SUVs driven by Lululemon clad housewives, she still finds a way to come home with a new though-the-paint door ding monthly.
  19. Do you live in a 1960's cottage? Did they forget to ground the fan?!?
  20. This is what happens when Captain Ron crop-dusts the sensor, or did you cup-of-cheese it?
  21. Don't you be letting the CA off the hook, she's dealing with the Misdemeanor enforcement, which is a bulk of the homeless citations.
  22. It's not just homelessness, it's been seen everywhere. Basic policing in Austin has demonstrated time and time again to be reactive policing rather than proactive. Traffic enforcement, what's that? Thefts? File a report. You don't want to believe the DA and CA's approach since 2020 has had any effect on APD policy and behavior?!
  23. Police are prioritizing things that get prosecuted. It's hard to hang a banner on the wall for most arrests that never go to trial. There's a point where leadership at APD says, don't worry about <insert low level offense> arrests / tickets, as they all get tossed. Focus on XYZ instead. Again, at the end of the day, if you keep arresting people only to get the charges dropped, you don't earn the department any money, and waste everyone's time.
