Are you sure your Tahoe is rated to tow it? I would think so... I would think the 26' would be relatively light but I know some of the Tahoes are only rated in the 6000-6500 lb area but GCVWR is the important number. I'd also strongly consider having a brake controller installed if you don't already have one. Here's a boring video about tow ratings with a handy spreadsheet: https://www.keepyourdaydream.com/payload/. At 12:36 in that video he explains some of the consequences of being overweight. Here's a link to Chevrolet VIN decoder that will pull up your specific numbers https://chevroletforum.com/forum/vindecoder.php?vin
Towing is not that hard, backing is a pain in the ass though til you get some practice. Our process is we pull up to our spot and wife gets out and calls me from her phone to my phone that's on bluetooth. She guides me in watching the back and passenger side which leaves me to watch the front of the truck and the driver's side. But here is where you need to have the conversation beforehand about patience and understanding because this is where you get into trouble. She'll tell you to go left and then after you figure out which way is left cause you're all fucking turned around you'll still accidentally turn the wheel the wrong way and then she gets pissed because you're an asshole that doesn't listen... There is a reason this exists.
The first thing I learned about towing a travel trailer is don't ever pull into a place unless you are sure you can get out of it (some gas stations can be tricky). Setting up is no big deal, the only tricky part is getting it level. Just watch some youtube videos and you'll be set especially if you got a buddy that knows what he's doing, but even then the park hosts are usually pretty helpful if you need a hand.
