  1. ACU isn’t the home for wayward foosball players, is it? My son graduated from there last year but I never even went to a football game. I know they recently moved up to D1, but didn’t think they took on character issues for football.
  2. Isn’t that TAMU?
  3. Both sides of the ball. Sheesh. Stoopid sip. Whoops!
  4. Uh oh. Now I’ve done it. I’ve re-started the Texas kolache-klobasnek-pigs-in-a-blanket nomenclature debate. CR levels of incivility are about to be unleashed. Sorry.
  5. The cookie is what everyone in the audience is thinking at the wedding below:

  7. His wife-beating also qualifies him for red ass status.
  8. My brother was stung once, my dad twice, by black widows. Only one required hospitalization, when my dad got stung right on the neck over his jugular. Even then he was only sick for a couple of days, not life threatening. He did die about 40 years later from Alzheimer’s related complications, so who knows. FAFO.
  9. β€œFor a beagle” being the operative part of that sentence. good boy!
  10. It was also funny when it was quoted in the post immediately before yours.
  11. I believe you’re looking for a pig in a blanket, or as they’re called in central Texas, a kolache.
  12. They would shelve him in a New York second if they could get a stud QB1 from the portal. I’m confused. Liucci very clearly said that Weigman is that guy.

  14. We had a short, fat beagle (is there any other kind?) as our kids’ childhood dog. Super sweet but intensely devious when it came to food. She shouldn’t have been able to reach the counter, but somehow she could. She once grabbed four full packages of Hawaiian rolls from the counter and got them outside before we knew it. On more than one occasion (including the Hawaiian rolls escapade) I had to squirt hydrogen peroxide down her gullet to get her to vomit so she didn’t kill herself from gorging. She rifled through all my daughters’ teenage friends purses more than once for mints, lipsticks, gum, and feminine products. Our current Goldie is somewhere on the spectrum (is there any other kind?), but not nearly as food driven. Things on the counter are safe. I can leave food on the coffee table, go to the bathroom, come back and it’s untouched. Once cup of food in the morning, one in the evening. That’s it. Same food, day after day, after week, after month, after year. She’s always just as excited.

  16. You could always go to the ICU for five days. Problem solved.
