  1. Baltimore
  2. Any insight on how to add a payment option to a minor's disney experience app so they can get fast passes/lightning lanes/etc.? My 16 year old is going on a school trip to Disney and I cannot figure this out.
  3. Well that makes me want to sell my stock
  4. I told my wife and kids that, when I die, I want them to stuff my dead body in a trash can to let me stew for awhile and then drop me out of an airplane onto the crowd at a LSU-Auburn playing at Auburn so that I bust like a melon
  5. Salem's is a good call. Haven't been there in forever.
  6. Ours couldn't measure anything so it was like being in a funhouse until we got it fixed. Table? Too big. Chairs? Too small. Let's put a 9 foot mirror here. But then you can't walk around the table..... just bullshit
  7. In fact, when we did a bathroom renovation I called the contractor she used for our earlier work and asked him point blank if he had any issues with working directly with me and cutting her out, because there was no chance I would ever work with her again. He said no problem and we got it done at about a quarter of the cost.
  8. Dude I threw my wife's interior decorator out of our house and told her to never come back. What a racket. They dig into your wife like a fucking tick and I bet your wife ended up doing all the work anyway.
  9. Another Broken Egg is fine but you're right about the line. The Original Pancake House got taken off my list about fifteen years ago when I watched a rat eat somebody's leftovers a few tables over.
  10. I was just using your post as an opportunity to reply to the actual question about if there's anywhere to eat between Atlanta and Tuscaloosa. The answers are, in order from East to West, Oxford, Birmingham, Bessemer (Bright Star). I agree there is no good reason to stop in Anustown.
  11. If you just want food and don't care, Oxford (the stop immediately before Anniston if you're coming from Atlanta) has Chipotle, Five Guys, Buffalo Wild Wings, and all that shit.
  12. Dimitri's is good. So is Big Bad Breakfast. Another Broken Egg is okay. Hero Donuts, Shipley's Donuts, any Krispy Kreme place is good. Ruby Sunshine is good.
  13. Where are you staying? There are quite a few good places, but I can give you a better rec if I know where you're located.
  14. Old Houndstooth was great. The new one blows. It's like they turned Hoover into a bar.
  15. Barons stadium (Regions Field) is a great venue.
  16. A Texas fan sitting near me at that game got thrown out before the end of the first series. His girlfriend sat all by herself silently the entire rest of the game.
  17. The coffee maker is loud because it grinds beans. I close the door not because the sound will wake the children but because my wife thinks the sound will wake the children, so I accommodate her low-stakes delusion. It turns out that I was wrong about what areas have what youth soccer leagues. And, if you're wondering, what I told her yesterday at some point was "Middle Child's coach says XYZ." So my wrongness was relaying what the coach told me (with the preface that it's what I was told).
  18. This morning, I'm standing in the kitchen, making coffee, with the door closed so the noise does not wake the kids. For background purposes, it is 6 AM and my wife and I have had exactly no conversations this morning. Additionally, we have had no conversations of any real significance the night before. Nor did we have any sort of disagreement. My wife opens the door, walks into the kitchen, and says "I think you're wrong."
  19. Eastbound and Down is excellent and so is Righteous Gemstones, but they are so different. I feel like there's a lot more room for weird character development with Gemstones, whereas with Eastbound and Down there's an element of "are we actually getting away with saying this on television?" to it.
  20. The fight between Batman and Superman was awesome. Otherwise Zach Snyder can be a little tough to deal with.
  21. The Ken Onion sharpener is amazing on kitchen knives. Pocket knives with their different blade shapes and angles, as well as how far the handle protrudes, will take some practice. But my kitchen knives are literally razor sharp. I even put an edge on my cleaver (in case I ever need to use it for something for the first time ever).
  22. My mother-in-law, who is a retarded person, saw Barbie and explained to my father-in-law, who is a dick and totally deserves to have to spend his life listening to his idiot wife, that the reason right wing Republicans were upset with the movie was because Barbie went to the gynecologist.
  23. Are we really not going to discuss the fact that some dude's wife chicken fried steak twice in one weekend? obligatory Buffalo Bill gif here
  24. Got it. I thought that place was closed but now it seems to have reopened. The famous one here in town is Sammy's and it is objectively horrific.
