  1. It will be Indianapolis because they always get this kind of shit, and it’s a dome, geographically centered sort of between KC and Cincinnati/Buffalo, and Colts aren’t using it. But bland AF
  2. And he had to watch Gary Kelly make it rain in the corner booth at the Rhino.
  3. Yes, son. Paul Revere used to drink with Babe Ruth in there before he got traded to the Yankees.
  4. I was thinking a D2 college stadium but your point stands.
  5. Since whichever neutral site NFL stadium they use will probably only be quarter to half full, and this is hopefully a one time thing, it would be cool if they play it in a smaller non-NFL venue.
  6. Somehow Bud Selig will profit from this.
  7. Can the squirrel play catcher for us?
  8. Weekends in Austin are already packed with one major event to the next, and highways are always jammed. What’s one more weekend in late December (when UT is out and lot of student have left)? Doing it at the MLS stadium with the Domain and all the breweries close by is kind of cool. Better destination for teams and fans than Shreveport, Detroit, Memphis, or Mobile.
  9. This attitude gets us Charlie Strong and Tom Herman because we refuse to hire top, innovative assistants with no HC experience. We also often exclude HC’s from outside D1 for the same reason.
  10. LSU would be down.
  11. I hate these times in public life (seems to happen most frequently in sports) where someone fucks up, and the pound of flesh is getting fired from their current job. After that they are (usually) free to get another job in a year or two. In situations like this, we (UT and its fans) get punished more than Beard. Is he going to be a D1 coach again soon? Almost definitely. If the charges get dropped, I do not agree that UT has some moral imperative to fire him just to watch him succeed at another school while we flounder. And in step with @Hermanator’s point, why the hell did the admin and big cigars choose to go to the SEC if they are not willing to be more aggressive and lax with some rules and standards like every other SEC school?
  12. Was he endowed like goober?
  13. I hate Skip (and Cowherd) to no end, but I don’t understand the level of outrage about that tweet. It’s possible to be concerned about a player’s health and simultaneously ponder the ramifications of a postponement or cancellation on the NFL playoffs, especially since sports reporting is his profession. Should he have known better than asking it on Twitter while the dude is still on the turf? Probably. But he did include a comment about the immediate well being of Hamlin being a priority in that same tweet.
  14. You don’t get to call locomotive but you can call caboose. And @Uncle Boobs calls the dining car
  15. Beats Thanos and Ultron, gets taken down by the villain Snow Plow.
  16. Xenu willing
  17. It would be great to move down 5-10 spots from #1 if the team throws in their second rounder and next year’s first rounder. The team needs as many first and second round picks on the roster as possible.
  18. Looks like a beaver, and not the kind you’d like to see in this thread
  19. Turns out it was frat pledges and it wasn’t milk…
  20. This off-season he should cut his hair, convert 15 lbs of fat into muscle, and focus more on improving as a QB and team leader and less on NIL endorsement opportunities. There’s irony that some of these sure fire first round picks that are pulling crazy NIL money might find themselves out of the first or second rounds entirely due to mediocre play in college because they stopped being hungry and grinding. We’ve got two on our offense.
  21. If USC offers him a million again, let him walk.
  22. Tech has the “Sovereign Immunity” card to play, which is more powerful than a Wild Draw 4 in Uno. Contracts mean nothing to them. Aggy beat LSU and Arky?
