  1. Just as douchetastic as it was on page 1.🤮
  2. Spencer's Corner was to the left of the Pub as you faced i on W. Bowie & University. Is that the one you mean? Owned by Spencer Taylor who also owned Spencer's Palace north of the old 1849 village north of the Trinity where University Park now stands and the Daily Double, which was in the village. Taylor also was one of the founders/partners in Billy Bob's Texas.
  3. 1986. Spent most of my dive days at the Hi-Hat.
  4. Just kill me now. My wife almost did when I ate 11 of the 12 she received.
  5. Having grown up on Meadowbrook, I loved the Airline location and haven't found anything elsewhere that compares. RIP to the original.
  6. Campisi's Italian and Aventino's on Camp Bowie are good choices. Nonna Tata on Magnolia is very authentic but seating is limited. Piola is a nice romantic place to celebrate anniversaries as well. These are the best Italian places I recommend based on experiences there but Grace in downtown would be my choice for atmosphere, service, ambiance, and food. Congratulations!
  7. Who knew that these were the lambs Agent Starling referred to in Silence of The Lambs?

    Justin Tucker

God himself couldn't hit a 66 yard field goal to win the game. Walk in the park for Justin Fucking Tucker.

    TCU game week.

SMU came into Amon Carter yesterday and rushed for 350 yards!!! I am inclined to believe that Texas can do that if the Ponies can and that should open up the passing game for Casey. Until the cockroaches are run over by Texas, they can really make life miserable. The last time I went to see Texas at AGC was in 2015 and it was 30-0 after the first quarter and 50-7 final. Not quite as bad as some of the OU blowouts, but worse living in FW and having to hear their fans talk about a team that hasn't done anything since they were matched against Wisconsin in the Rose Bowl.
  10. Nice to see that the FTAB has embraced the trangender population.

    Casey Thompson

Casey has my vote to finish the season as numero uno. Will be watching from the upper deck here in Cowtown next weekend and hoping that the cockroaches don't fall into what has become a reason for all of us to be optimistic the following week in Dallas. Fatterson will have the froggies spitting blood after the home loss yesterday to SMU but as mentioned previously, Texas will be circled on every opponent's calendar and will be getting the max effort from everybody. Happy that Casey has stepped up and lifted this team in performance and attitude. Hudson's time will come, either here hopefully, or somewhere else.
  12. I'm sure Chloe was watching highlights from the Tech game yesterday.
  13. Give me the under on how many times you could resist this tag team.
  14. All 7 pts scored by Longhorns!!
  15. This! We adopted 5year old brother/sister miniature poodles and they do just this. Nothing like having two lap dogs to watch football with.
  16. I bet her owner is a happy as she is. Great doggo.
  17. The Card Counter. Currently 86% critics/25% audience on Rotten Tomatoes and that should have told me something. Oh well, the popcorn was just being emptied and was fresh.😎
  18. Was by there Tuesday night and you are correct-I can't imagine they were not full up with a one hour wait list last night for the Cowboys game.
  19. Pick of the Litter on Hulu. If you love puppehs, this one will have you ten minutes in.
  20. Hope you were vaccinated before venturing to Collie Station and that the PTSD therapy from those trips is helping.
  21. Thank you for posting this article. Jack Crain part of the story cracked me up and didn't surprise me one bit. CSB-my parents retired to Nocona, Crain's home, in 1975 and they became friends. He preached my mother's funeral in '85 and was a great comfort to my family that day.
  22. Having been a CPS caseworker from 1985-86 in two small counties along the Red River, I can promise you this is spot on. The burnout rate for staff was 18 months back then and I bet it is even less these days. Unfortunately, because the victims of abuse, abandonment, and neglect don't bring a lot to the table in terms of political clout and therefore funding for services is not in the top ten priority wise.
  23. Doesn't get any better than this. Rescue dogs just seem to show their gratitude more than others.
  24. +Rep 'cause at 3am, here in FW, the strippers come in from their clubs. Don't think any of those ATL gals were making it rain in da' club tho.
  25. In the words of Janis Joplin, "Get it while you can", Clark! Good looking doggo.
