  1. Life is Short and Extras are extremely under-appreciated shows IMO.
  2. Sounds like they're working on it. I saw this person late last week at a luncheon and was told that they posted it the day before (maybe two days) and they've gotten a bunch of people reaching out and giving them donations to investigate further, I guess. This person thinks the DOGE kids are the ones who wrote all the code that set it up so the election computers could communicate with Starlink satellites and not appear "online." Who the fuck knows? I still think there's no chance Trump won the election fair-and-square. I also know that we probably haven't had a truly fair-and-square election in the history of this country.
  3. Then they've been using it wrong. "Salt of the earth" is far from an insult.
  4. I posted this in another thread. I actually know one of the main people behind this (believe it's the person that created the Substack). They are former military intelligence IIRC. This person called me not long after the election with some of the tidbits that wound up in this piece. They were the first to tell me about the "bullet ballots" being wildly more numerous than in usual elections. (They also claim that Allred beat Cruz, which is where I began cocking my eyebrows.) I want to believe this because at least that restores some faith in my fellow Americans but also want to avoid falling down the same "stolen election" BS that we accuse MAGA of doing. Plus, barring something absolutely insane coming out this will have zero effect. I wish them the very best of luck. As somebody said in response to my post the other day, if this is true this is probably the biggest scandal in the history of this country.
  5. He only does favors that result in him getting money
  6. I'm eyeing that one too. Front row in the balcony was like $200. The second row was $130 maybe. I don't think that will be a jam-packed show but I've been wrong before. The Caamp show downstairs was a zoo as I said. That would not have been fun. I'll let you know if my wife and I go. Would be good to see you again.
  7. Stephen Miller and ICE Barbie in Bitter West Wing Civil War Over Round-Ups PUT ON ICE The pair weren’t best pleased with an intervention from Agriculture Secretary Brooke Rollins regarding immigration raids. https://archive.is/xXNoe#selection-375.0-389.121
  8. Especially considering that was not an easy 3-putt from there. Also, if the putt didn't fall it was going to be more than a gimme coming back. Felt more like Pavin's shot at Shinnecock to me. I'm a little young to remember much of Jack's career other than his '86 Masters. I watch a lot of golf. JJ Spaun has been all over this spring, which is why I came this close to picking him in my US Open pool since he was still fetching a pretty good price. Did I expect him to win the US Open? Absolutely fucking not.
  9. Not sure he was ever sane or normal. I was watching Jon Stewart last night and he recounted a story from back in 2019 or whenever where he and a handful of first responders were going around and meeting US senators and reps to help support potential legislation to get 9/11 first responders treatment for cancer and other toxic cleanup ailments they had. Stewart said they met with Lee and the first responders took turns telling their stories. A police officer recounted his emotional experience of being in one of the towers that collapsed. When he was done telling story, Lee had this smile/grin on his face and said, “Man, I bet you’ve got a lot of stories.” Stewart said they left the meeting and as soon as they walked out, they all looked at each other and said, “What the fuck was that?” He said it was the only meeting of many they had where they had that experience. Needless to say, Stewart is no fan of Lee.

  11. I love this website.
  12. I'm just chuckling at Cornyn trying to play that game. He's clearly not equipped and will get eviscerated. At least Paxton is genuine. A genuine piece of human shit.
  13. ICE could ‘run out of money next month’ and is already $1bn over budget to carry out Trump’s deportation plans The Department of Homeland Security has requested an extra $2 billion to meet its needs by the end of September https://www.the-independent.com/news/world/americas/us-politics/ice-dhs-budget-deportations-trump-b2770916.html

  15. I heard that. Sounds like a cool thing for Gordo.
  16. I love these two -- but then again, I'm a sucker for British new wave music starting in the late 70's
  17. @YGIFS approved. (And RIP.)
  18. There were definitely some fucking bad folks out looking to start some shit. Based on the MN politican-killer's "NO KINGS" signs, I wonder if he planned to end his day at the local rally there and take out some more anti-Trump folks.
  19. I think this is the bill I was thinking of in my above post. https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/politics-news/democratic-governors-roll-back-health-care-undocumented-immigrants-rcna211794
  20. Was that the same bill that MAGA dipshits were excoriating Walz for saying he'd sign because it was basically a poison pill if he didn't. Walz didn't necessarily agree with it but there were really bad ramifications if he didn't sign it, like the MN GOP were going to do some really, really serious harm to the state. (Sorry this is vague AF but I wouldn't even know how to go searching for this. But basically, MAGA thinks it's found a "gotcha" for Walz. And I wonder if this is the same bill Hortman voted for.) This family is simply rotten to the core. There is nothing redeemable about any of them at this point and I wish nothing but the worst on all of them.
  21. The putts Spaun made at 12 and 18 are the two longest putts he's made all year. Some interesting notes here: https://www.nytimes.com/athletic/6428283/2025/06/15/us-open-2025-what-to-know-spaun-win-oakmont/
