CoTA sounds like it sucks
A buddy of mine marshals sometimes at COTA. He just sent me a video showing no marshals in sight around the stadium complex during a hot track session of the GT World Challenge event.

- Deion Sanders "Coach Prime" Now At Colorado
Someone earlier mentioned that no credible draft analysts had him going before the 3rd or 4th round. I believe that, because it makes a lot of sense & I never thought Sanders was anything more than a middling college talent with a lot of unwarranted hype, but I don't follow these draft analysts too closely. Anyone remember any of the analysts who had him lower in the draft? (I could use that info to shut someone up)- Texas A&M @ Texas Series Thread

- I'm not a bot!
OK, it was my VPN. The videos worked everywhere else even with it on, but not on Surly. Turned it off, and now they work on Surly too. Thanks for your help & have a great weekend. Sorry for the wild goose chase.- I'm not a bot!
Icognito no workie. Tried it logged out of surl and then logged into surl. Neither worked. I'll try clearing cookies.- I'm not a bot!
Dunno. I'll try those and get back to you. Re: proving I'm not a bot, it says I need to do that, but doesn't give me a pathwayto do it. So weird.- I'm not a bot!
K, cool. Thanks for the quick response. So weird that I only have the problem here, and not on other boards or when I'm on YT watching the same video.- I'm not a bot!
Yeah, so ... I was logged in already when I had the same problem you did. Logged out and back into YT like you did. Embedded vids still not playing here, but I can see everything just fine on YT. Seems like we had this same problem a few months ago, but I can't remember what the solution was. @immamac? Whatcha think?- Awful Texas foodways
Yeah, man. I just don't get it. I was born in Florida and spent a lot of time visiting there. Lived in Tennessee most of my pre-Texas life before coming to Austin in '77. I'd never even heard of sweet cornbread before we got here. Pretty much anywhere I go in Texas, if they have cornbread at all, it's sweet. Cracker Barrel's about the only place I know of where they default to regular cornbread. Even at HEB when it's open, if you look at the pre-mixed cornbread mixes, most of them are sweet. If I want good cornbread, I usually just make some at home.- Awful Texas foodways
Sweet cornbread. I love cornbread .... without the sugar. That is all. At least for now.- Texas @ Texas State - 6 pm on SECN+

They still haven't gotten that shit figured out? Wow. All in on 2026. Yep. I blame the penalty system. It's what they all do these days, even when they might be better off just giving the place back, as they would have been in this case. The problem is, most times they come out ahead by just taking the penalty. I also still have a problem with the whole 'the inside car had a 6" lead at the apex, so he doesn't need to leave any room at all on exit for the car on the outside' convention (no matter who is involved). As one of the commentators astutely noted during the race, 'If Oscar had been slightly behind at apex instead of slightly ahead, Max would still have had to leave the track. They were both committed'. I'll never understand why the same rule that requires you to leave room for a car that's alongside on the inside doesn't apply to a car on the outside. Change that, and/or require track design that enforces track limits, and the whole equation changes. It was also so close imho that neither driver had a slam-dunk claim to having been ahead at the apex. Again, require both drivers to leave room for one another, and then each of them will change the way they race that corner, and the hair-splitting over who's ahead at the apex will go away. It won't even matter in terms of legality or penalties. Yep, imho.
