  1. Yep, I've been checking snow reports, but of course there's no way to tell what the snow will be like in a month. I set up a Spring Break family trip to Taos about 10 years ago, and of course had to book months in advance. Snow was decent in Dec/Jan, then just stopped mid-Feb. We rented a massive house/yard that should have had 6 inches of snow everywhere but was just dirt and scrub brush. The skiing was terrible and dangerous, fucking ice under a light dusting of snow.
  2. HEB Brodie has a couple of 25-item self checkouts with a guy at the end who does bagging/age verification/overrides/etc
  3. Also my girlfriend, but she's the one that really wants to see snow and let the dogs play in it. She's only been around snow once in her life (Switzerland last summer).
  4. me: Hey, did you pick up the dog food at Costco? Yeah, it was really crowded. me: uh, Chase shows the charge was $155....wtf all did you buy? Like dog food, and a few other things. "other things" = $100+ worth of fruit, veggies, chia seeds and other revolting health food items that take up 3/4 of the fridge space and will be tossed out in a few weeks when they start rotting....and all my fault because I didn't eat "my share" of stuff she knows I don't like
  5. Looking to take the dogs to experience snow for the first time. What's the best/closest destination drive from Austin? I'm guessing Ruidoso NM? No interest in hanging out for a week in a West Texas shithole....
  6. I don't think "Winter" is a big factor in either of those two
  7. oh STFU white knight If Mamoa had been screaming at Jennifer Beals to "do it again with your shirt off", a lot of fucking people would be losing their shit
  8. tmobile commercial telling Jason Mamoa to "do it again but with your shirt off". I'm sure that would have been fine if the genders were reversed
  9. Thanks Doritos, she was a nobody before this
  10. Small slices from a Delta 9 gummie will help a lot. I had to do that for my GSP in Puebla....fucking storms and/or fireworks every other fucking day.
  11. Terrible abhorrent garbage songs so far: "Mickey" "Pachelbel - Canon" "Knights in White Satin"
  12. Oli is your son or the dog?
  13. Yikes. Gonna have to disagree there. the 1/2 Japanese girl is not really attractive and is a strange pairing for Glover the sheer amount of relationship/feelings talk was exhausting an international spy living in NYC doesn't know what Sotheby's is?
  14. I've been frantically searching for an MCU movie called "The Devil's Lettuce"
  15. One of my co-worker buddies transferred from Denver to Honolulu a few years ago for a 60% salary bump to work at a branch there. He left after a year, said everything was still too fucking expensive.
  16. You're the fucking idiot mumbling about all "aggie defenders" around here who only exist in your delusional, perpetually confused fucktard brain. How many usernames have you had now? You're neck and neck with Derka now.
  17. Lobo-tomized
  18. "I don't know how many people can fit in the front room, 100 at the most, but about 5,000 people have told me they were there," chuckles Nixon, 22 years after the fact.
  19. Are their couch fritters made from real couches?
  20. There's just nothing like a $6 breakfast taco in an old Mission cardboard flour tortilla.
  21. You and bevoette really don't understand what this thread is about.
  22. I have never, ever dated/married a woman that had a clue about directions or US/World Geography. Women with any knowledge of those are unicorns. That's like breaking up with a woman because she doesn't recognize Simpsons quotes.
  23. There's plenty of inventory...in places that aren't cool or super trendy. Millennials don't want to live there. Boo hoo. When I was looking to buy a house 22 years ago, I wanted to live in Tarrytown. Couldn't afford it. So I looked South at Circle C. The only units in Circle C I could afford were small, on the CC border and had bizarre floor plans/yards that nobody wanted. So I bought a house in a quiet South neighborhood that doesn't have a cool name or location. Most of my co-workers bought/built in Buda/Hutto/Bastrop/Liberty Hill. That wasn't their first or second choice either.
