  1. They pay $2.50 down in Hallettsville, 3 dollars maybe more. Wait, that’s for armadillos.
  2. Mine is a little bit smaller than yours but it took 2 weeks with 2 rain delay days half way through, so 8 full days of digging. They had the form boards up and leveled around 3 sides of it from day one. I guess they'll come back and re-layout the more precise edges at some point.
  3. I don't have an Instant Pot either but I did think this one needed more investigation. Why You Should NOT Use Your Instant Pot as a Slow Cooker
  4. Same issue with ADT about 5 years ago with price going from about $30 to $45+. Switched to Smith Thompson which works with your existing equipment (ours is a traditional dumb system). Price has been $17/month since 1978 for the basic monitoring. More for smart systems, etc. Luckily never had a real alarm, but the kids have set it off before (stupid glass break sensors and slamming doors) and they always call right away so at least know they do monitor. I'm pretty sure I got the Smith Thompson recommendation from a similar thread on Shaggy.
  5. Team dry brine. No buckets, no water...
  6. Get used to the sound of that hammer and the vibrating of your foundation for a few days.
  7. We had to "finish the scene" later in the night.
  8. Our anniversary was yesterday and during the afternoon we picked up various charcuterie from Pieous and took it out to Dutchman winery. We were sitting there under the oaks enjoying the wine, food, and the weather, looking out over the vineyard, reflecting on things and I turn to her and say: "I find the pastrami to be the most sensual of all the salted, cured meats."
  9. Been killing these the last week. Make it year round!
  10. Can we not have to scroll past a huge gif to see the topics?
  11. Well shit, I guess Goya is a conglomerate from NY. I stand by the chili I made though!
  12. I intended to make chili using more or less the recipe above but while HEB was open, it did not have dried chiles. Where they normally would be was the Fiesta Chili powder packets so went with that. It called for making a little roux with oil and flour and frying the spice packet with some cumin seeds, so I added that to what I had already put together with other spices I had on hand. I like to add a Sason Goya packet or two at the end for some MSG. It was the best I've made by using all powders. I killed the leftovers for lunch today since we officially have chili weather.
  13. Oh, I realize I hate neighbors without moving first. Finding something exactly like you described was difficult so decided to invest or improve this home instead.
  14. 10 posts and nobody has questioned the "chili" yet? Surly chili police is slipping bad. Shit looks good Etex!
  15. I'm jealous of the land as well. Here's my suburb yard pool so far.
  16. We have a few legit photographers.
  17. So this board will be no different than 80% of the rest of the site?
  18. This is correct
  19. Gunite day today! It's exactly three weeks since excavation finished so I guess I'm not doing too bad timeline wise.
  20. Sounds like a network problem. Been using Chrome on Macbook for several years. As far as bookmarks, if you're signed in to Google account, all that should be with your account and not stored locally or with the install.
  21. Soon...
