  1. I, for one, would like to see our performance over the second half of the season before making definitive evaluations. Some players could surprise.
  2. I don’t disagree. I have no doubt that some team will sign him to be an everyday player, paying more than the Astros would be willing to. No doubt Im saying that I don’t believe he will get a multi-year contract at 15-20 million a year, which is what I’d call breaking the bank for him.
  3. Yeah, Marwin had a career year in 2017. Regressed to the mean this year. He is a Swiss Army Knife kind of player but I’d be shocked, especially in this analytics age, if a team broke the bank signing him. To me, he’s a complimentary player as opposed to an everyday, front line player. For a Championship type team. I’d like to keep him, but as a back up, jack of all trades like he was for most of his career.
  4. Shit, piss, fuck, cunt, cocksucker, motherfucker, tits. We definitely didn’t have the mojo of last year in the ALCS. Got to get healthy and improve the bottom of the lineup and bench. I said last year that winning it all once in my lifetime would be enough. I’ve found that not to be true. Got to give it to the Red Sox. They have a hell of a team.
  5. Let’s fuck this guy up
  6. Oh, great. Now all of the TBS commentators are saying it should have been a home run. So we got that going for us. Fucking MLB
  7. We’ll agree to disagree. Outs are precious at this point. You don’t go unless you are sure to make it. And you can’t assume we’ll hit into a double play.
  8. I have to admit that I never imagined that we’d have Sipp pitching in the 9th inning of a game we had to win.
  9. No, we needed baserunners. Got to keep the line moving when down 3. Dont need to be a hero.
  10. Yeah, “hitter” being the operative word. God damnit. Fuck
  11. This is another of those crucial at bats that make the difference between winning and losing. Lets hope the shark can do his thing
  12. Don’t forget that we’ve done this before. Let it play out before burying our guys
  13. You called it. Bam!
  14. Asshole behind home plate fucked us again. You can’t call shit like that in that situation
  15. for as shitty as Machete has caught the ball this series, that was one of the best throws I’ve seen Bradley got a good jump
  16. If that’s true, then CNBC is fake news. They said he was 65 when he died. Quitting at age 30 with fuck you money is even cooler than doing it at 35.
  17. Ha ha. That wasn’t my intention. Just thought it was interesting given the previous conversation about the shaking. Moviemaking is a whole different animal.
  18. This is a very well done documentary, “Space Age”. Episode 2, “To the Moon”, has an interesting interview with Bill Anders of Apollo 8 where he describes the violence of the launch. The whole thing is worth watching, but starting at the 14:00 mark, Anders describes the launch as shaking so much that they couldn’t see the gauges and says that Frank Borman released his hold on the abort handle because he was afraid that the shaking was going to cause him to unintentionally pull the handle and abort the whole thing. Interesting stuff. https://ihavenotv.com/to-the-moon-the-space-age-nasas-story
  19. What the fuck are you talking about? On paper? What, toilet paper? They’ve got TX Tech , Okie St, WV-just like we do. Plus TCU. Oh, wait. That must be some sort of performance art type of schtick like Hank Scorpio. You can’t be that stupid. My bad. Sorry for doubting you.
  20. N.C. State? That IS a bold prediction.
  21. Perfect description
