  1. He didn’t play QB, per se. But they lined him up everywhere to force feed him the ball. QB, RB, WR, PR, KR.
  2. Homer-ism aside, I don't think this has officially happened yet.
  3. Senior year: 2,622 total offensive yards 1,702 rushing yards 920 receiving yards 28 touchdowns He’s no slouch. That’s for sure. https://www.hudl.com/video/3/11332743/6134dd71a022f80a6820129c
  4. It’s actually on topic. Machinator went to college. That’s why he was gone for like four years.
  5. This is a fucking crazy list. Any list that has Texas A&M over UVA academically should be immediately discredited. Edit: Holy shit. It has A&M and ASU over Vanderbilt and Notre Dame. WTF.
  6. Yeah, they're probably fourth or fifth best in the SEC behind Vanderbilt, Texas/UF, and maybe aggy.
  7. You can't but love the early success for J Whitt. I hope this man has a ten-year career and makes substantial bank. He's earned it with his tenacity, resilience, and mental toughness. The dude is a straight fighter and does everything right.
  8. Fucking glass houses right there, aggy.
  9. Nah, man. Miami was his first commitment. That NIL situation blew up/UF offered more and then he committed to UF. Then that NIL situation blew up which led to his enrollment at ASU.
  10. Yeah, I'm going with Golden and Bond. I guess Niblack could be one, but I definitely don't think it's a defensive player.
  11. The Insider: Recruiting Updates (Hank South) Summary: Fasusi deciding on August 21 between Texas, Missouri, Oklahoma, Oregon, and Texas A&M. Current confidence on Texas, "but as we've reported, this is a back-forth battle with Oklahoma. It's hard to gauge exactly how this will end." Brooks deciding between Texas, Georgia, and USC, and will announce either Aug. 23 or Aug. 30 — he hasn't decided yet. "Talking to sources near Texas and elsewhere, the Longhorns keep getting brought up as the trendy pick." "This isn't an either/or situation for Texas. If both Fasusi and Brooks want to come to Austin, both are more than welcome to and Texas would gladly accept their commitments" Lockett is the "sixth highest-ranked wideout to commit to Texas in the modern era, falling only behind B.J. Johnson (2000), Bru McCoy (2019), Mike Davis (2010), Roy Williams (2000) and Marquis Johnson (2002)." Boy, that's a list with wildly different outcomes. Lockett is 6-foot-2-inch, 175-pounds, with a 6-foot-7-inch wingspan
  12. The Insider: How Texas football moves on after CJ Baxter's injury and more Summary: Baxter loss is big, but there are plenty of options. Blue wants to be NFL bound after this year. There are a lot of high expectations for Wisner Gibson is ahead of Clark at this point. "I think Jerrick is going to be like a Roschon Johnson, maybe a little more explosive. I think Christian Clark has some of the similar traits to Bijan Robinson." - Choice Offense looks really good in camp thus far Sorrell's NFL stock is rising Trey Moore is going to be an issue for opposing offenses in obvious passing situations
  13. Calculator! It's Texas for Lockett!
  14. Damn, has Mike Roach lost a lot of weight? Dude looks completely different.
  15. I'll be surprised if it isn't Texas, but traditional hat theory would say the choice is aggy.
  16. NCAA: "He's a cheater in a multitude of ways and no one is allowed to hire him for the next four seasons without a year-long suspension." Also NCAA: "Here's your title trophy you earned. Congratulations!" Fuck this organization and all the ways they are corrupt and incompetent.
  17. How do you discern this from that update? If the goal is to get the best five DBs on the field, playing Barron at CB does that. However, as CTJ said, maybe the 9.95ers have no idea what they're talking about here.
  18. There are tons of YouTube videos on recruiting well.
  19. Which he probably should do. He has potential, but is super raw. Guys with extreme tools and potential without otherworldly production at the high school level are being deprioritized now in the MLB draft. 10 years ago, he's a first or second rounder. If he's an above-average LHP for the baseball team and a starter on the defensive side of the ball in football, he'll make a shit ton in NIL at Texas. Sure, he'll have to work his ass off, but he would anyways to make it to the big leagues if he turned pro at 18 in baseball.
  20. I don't want the guy to fail. I don't want CU to burn down. It just seems pretty obvious to me that his tactics (which apparently include a lack of program oversight) have inherent faults to building sustainable success. Otherwise, I have no qualms here. It would be great (to me) for Deion to prove everyone wrong. However, it just seems like we've seen this movie before; and the ending doesn't match the promise of the start.
  21. What a shit show. Don't worry. @Chewbacca will show up and tell us why it's all fine.
  22. Texas football practice report: Can't-miss observations from the Longhorns' first two days of fall camp I really wish Hutson or Neto could usurp Conner at LG. Either one would be an athletic upgrade. I'm tired of Conner getting beat to spots.
