  1. Past ball, Tech runner at third with a very aggressive attempt at home, out by a good measure and tried to hurdle GG while getting tagged.
  2. It would be great if Shaw could close this out. That leaves Hurley, Burke, and Morehouse for a potential sweep tomorrow.
  3. You can't throw a better ball as a catcher to catch someone stealing than that.
  4. Damn, would be a tie ballgame. Stupid ass base running mistakes, man.
  5. Man, if the lineup keeps progressing and we get a value-add Witt back, this team could be in a good spot in a month. And, of course, as soon as I say this, Sthele leaves one up. I like that Pierce went and got him. He doesn't do that in this situation in the past with Sthele. Pierce knows he needs this series for RPI.
  6. He seems great at keying in on the fastball, but he can't hit off-speed stuff, as @Fletch said, and he chases a ton of pitches outside the zone. He's just an immature hitter at this juncture. I'm sure he'll rake next year.
  7. Sthele can't lose it here. Keep throwing changes.
  8. Any of those four balls could have been called a strike.
  9. That's what I'd assume. Also, WTF is with this zone?!
  10. Already at 43 pitches through 2.1. He tends to get pretty sloppy around 60 pitches. I'm glad to see LBJ warming up.
  11. Fuck yeah, mofos. After a runner on second with no outs and two runners in scoring position with Kash up to bat, Sthele gets the traitor to hack at two nice change ups and Ks him to end the threat.
  12. 3.2 perfect innings in relief. What a start to conference play!
  13. 247 VIP practice notes: Running back Jonathon Brooks returns to practice following off-season surgery Good news in here from FCB re: Brooks, Maalik Murphey, and Isaiah Neyor More practice notes from Jeff Howe:
  14. They have two returning starters at OT. I view this as more of a way to get the potential best five on the field. Williams is probably a backup tackle if either Banks or Jones gets hurt. edit: yep, as I now see others have said as well.
  15. About to be three if Creighton beats Baylor.
  16. They shot 40% from three and still somehow lost by nine. That's the epitome of WTF Shakablah.
  17. Splitting with Tech and OSU, overall, and beating aggy would be huge for our RPI and résumé down the stretch. Beating (more so, not losing to) Texas State twice would also really help. Taking the series against OSU, and surprisingly, West Virginia, are really the only big RPI boost chances Texas has remaining.
  18. Tech can definitely score again this season.
  19. Wow. KSU is raining clutch threes out here.
