  1. Dad was just telling me he was at that game, and how a Indiana LB took out the Texas starting QB (Bill Bradley) on a late-hit -- something I'm not surprised by, as it's something I've seen the Big-Slow-10 do a lot of over the years.
  2. Parking has never NOT been a bitch on The 40 Acres. Lulz.
  3. Per this On3 article that Bleacher Report just served me, "by 2026" is when the SEC goes to a 9-game conference schedule: https://www.on3.com/news/texas-athletics-director-chris-del-conte-confirms-sec-progressing-toward-nine-game-conference-schedule-by-2026-season/ Although saying "by 2026" leaves some doubt whether 2025 could go to 9-game conference schedule, too.
  4. That image is also in this short article (sourced to Jabba): https://footballscoop.com/news/powerpoint-slide-shows-texas-texas-a-m-rivalry-pettiness-is-back
  5. Keeping in mind that our pitching staff walking in runs is Not Our Standard. Lulz.
  6. And he was from the Tom Landry coaching tree. He was Landry's QB coach for the Dallas Cowboys.
  7. National Signing Day: Big 12 poised to finish outside top 20 in recruiting rankings amid Texas, Oklahoma exits https://www.cbssports.com/college-football/news/national-signing-day-big-12-poised-to-finish-outside-top-20-in-recruiting-rankings-amid-texas-oklahoma-exits/
  8. Alan Page worked doing construction when he was young and still in Canton, Ohio, and actually helped build the Pro Football Hall of Fame building where he would be enshrined in years later.
  9. From Canton, Ohio, went to a catholic prep school there, then neuter-dumb for a BA and the '66 MNC. Then he got his JD at U of Minnesota law school and worked as an attorney in the offseasons -- all during his NFL playing career for the Vikes. I watched Page play on TV in the mud and snow of the old outdoor Metropolitan Stadium that they played in back then--- Chuck Foreman (#44), Fran Tarkenton (#10), and one Bobby Moore (#28 - later changed his name to Ahmad Rashad) were some of his teammates.
  10. Once they find this place, we'll prolly pickup some of every SEC foe now that we're there..... and it just means more. Lulz.
  11. Earl, Larry Csonka, and Alan Page (#88 Vikings - later became a Minnesota state Supreme Court judge) -- all really Badass Mofos.
  12. It's funny you fail to mention the '82-'83 Oilers, led by one Archie Manning at the helm. Also funny in this picture is how Archie's about to bail from the pocket because of pressure from a former Texas Longhorns 2-time All-American Kenneth Sims.
  13. The Bugeaters (nebraska) must be still mad at Pacific for dropping football, since that was the Bugeaters' guaranteed win every year. Lulz.
  14. From the Meatchicken site: https://mgoblue.com/sports/football/roster/kenneth-grant/24351
  15. Ben knows it's that Fuckstick in the back, Skrain Dukat, that's The True Idiot. Lulz.
  16. So when Sark says "FUCK!" 30 times in a row while looking at the tablet, we'll know what he's looking at. Lulz.
  17. I like the live version better on the "Arena" album.
  18. OR, they were taught the "watch the receiver's eyes" style of coverage and not the "turn your head" coverage.
