  1. I knew Quinn wasn’t good enough when he threw this lob to AD against Washington on the final play. (PI aside, it was a terrible throw). Watch the replay from his POV. I can’t believe we keep giving him so many chances when it’s clear his football IQ is not very good.
  2. “Well the other guy didn’t do shit either” is a piss poor argument because you’re comparing a RS Freshman to a 3rd year starter. A blowout with Arch at the helm is easier to stomach than the performance we saw from Quinn in his third year starting. This game plus the awful throw in the Washington game is more than enough to show Quinn is not the guy.
  3. We’re in the later part of Quinn’s career and he still hasn’t become Quinn yet. What was VY doing in Year 3?
  4. The timing of the “hack” is very convenient since it was done on the same day Bobby and the guys were giving criticism of Quinn’s performance during the Georgia game. It’s looking like an “accidental text on purpose” to gauge the fan reaction to Quinn possibly sitting out for the season. And then this follow up tweet by CJ. This type of stuff is beneath us.
  5. Is he making a documentary or what? I think the last time I saw him in a big movie was Wolf of Wall Street over ten years ago. I can’t imagine what Gen Z thinks of him today.
  6. The ass kicking would have been easier to stomach if it was Arch’s 7th start and we were building towards the future. Quinn looked exactly the same as Arch and Quinn is in year 3. Everything we are doing with Quinn right now is like paying rent since he’s going to the NFL. We could instead be putting equity into our QB future by starting Arch and getting him live snaps even if it’s during a shitshow game like this. I don’t see us winning a championship with Quinn so anything involving him as the offensive leader is just a waste of time and used to pump up Sark’s reputation as a QB whisperer.
  7. I saw Scarface when I was 8. I remember the double VHS sleeve it came in. The chainsaw scene in the beginning sticks with me even though it wasn’t very graphic. The weird scary shit from the movie Phantasm is what really stuck in my mind as a kid.
  8. The false starts happen frequently under Quinn and it shows his lack of command over the offense. If Quinn would step up into the pocket and wait for plays to develop instead of bailing, we’d be scoring and ST wouldn’t be an issue. And even though our running game sucks, it’s still no excuse for Quinn’s passing game to look the way it does in Year 3. I’m over tiptoeing around Quinn’s issues which were very apparent even during a 30 point RRS victory. It’s time to move on.
  9. I could stomach this loss if we were the 7th start into the Arch Manning era. It’s growing pains and adjusting to the speed of the game. But watching our 3rd year starter stink it up like this after he came back to improve his draft stock is completely unacceptable and leaves a bitter taste in my mouth.
  10. I noticed most of the false starts this year happen when Quinn is in the game. I don’t remember Arch getting many false starts in his 2 games.
  11. It’s giving “our instagram was hacked and a saved graphic you weren’t supposed to see got posted.”

    TEXAS QB TALK

I remember Erwin was pissed like this about Quinn’s throw in the final play of the Washington game.
  13. Quinn has thrown this before where the route on the right side gets jumped by a defender but didn’t become an INT because it was dropped. This is nothing new and clearly other teams know this. Quinn has a really bad tell where he slaps the football with his left hand immediately before he throws it. It’s pretty obvious and I’m sure defenders use this to time their jumps to slap the ball away.
  14. I remember Quinn throwing a nearly identical INT last year against OU. Quinn can’t make reads if the pre/post snap coverage changes. It’s year 3. The injury doesn’t make you have shitty reads.
  15. Look at Quinn during OU. He doesn’t step up in the pocket and instead runs in the direction of the defenders. The all 22 shows just how bad it is.
  16. Quinn looked good but I wouldn’t call it “amazing” against Michigan. There were guys wide open across the middle he wasn’t even seeing. He was doing this during the OU game too. It’s a recurring problem and it hasn’t been fixed by year 3. It’s constant under/overthrows, missing wide open reads, locking into receivers and terrible footwork. We’re nearly 30 starts in and we’re still talking about footwork and progressions.
  17. Arch has the dumb Eli face but Quinn has that Mack Brown “scares you to death” face like he just saw Chucky run across the living room with a knife.
  18. Helm is the only one who can catch Quinn’s throws because he’s super tall and Quinn is always off by a mile.
  19. Quinn can never ever hit people in the numbers or right in stride and this can lead to people getting hurt.
  20. The team literally trampled him on the field. I don’t think it was an accident.
  21. 2nd INT for Raiola
  22. Indiana pick of Raiola near the goal line for a 78 yard return.
  23. First Hoosier sell out since 2021. Curt Cignetti almost said it’s because winning puts people in the fucking stands.
